  7. Hi Mike, great work with your build. About fitting your calf , what I did was: 1- overlap the calf posterior section till I felt confortable and they looks good in the mirror and fix then with painters tape. 2- with a white board maker I draw a line in the center of both pieces. 3- Cut straight from top to botton. 4- I glued the cover strip and finally glued the velcro. I made an example at may office using a piece of paper. hope i'm doing clear. 1 2 3 4 And placed the cover strips and velcro. Hope this can help you. and note that the calves rest on you boot and you can add some velco in the inner front to avoid them to twist. cheers

  11. Hi Don, great work on your armor mate. Everything is looking good. Just one thing I notice about your ab - kidney rivets, it looks like you have placed the kidney rivets a little low and that's why the armor pieces looks missaligned.   13. Hi James, welcome to FISD. Great to read you're about to start building your sandtrooper armor. It's a challeging but nice process. Even this forum is the Stormtroopers Detachment, you may want to check the main Sand Troopers Forum : Mos Eisley Police Deprtment Forum . By the way, don't panic with the quantity of pieces You are about to start a very interesting process of building your own armor, it's something like a Jedi building his own lightsaber. As per the instructions for request EIB status says: Creating Application Post Request 501st membership status Create new post in the Request Expert Infantry Status forum Format the topic title as follows: TK0123 requesting COSTUME_NAME EIB status [ARMOR TYPE] List the mandatory costume information below Put photos directly into the post I would suggest to check the following links so you can post your photos directly into your EIB application post. This will make the D.O team can review it faster . Of course you can use whatever app you desire to do the same. Cheers and good luck with your approval.
