You can try shortening the elastic on both sides of the butt plate , another suggestion is changing them for Nylon strap.

Building the Helmet has been, for me, the most challenging part of an Armor Building process. Consider that original ANH Helmets were not perfect and they had some ear gaps too as you can see in the following reference pics. You can try too reduce the gap as much as possible . Hi, I would suggest to put on the upper part of your armor (Chest,back,Ab- kidney) to see the space between the thighs-armor connections. Cheers

Hi Daniel, as greg has pointed, there is a defined cover Strips size to be Screen Accurate . But in some cases you can exceed a "little" this measures in order to fit better but being still Screen Accurate. arms and forearms - 15mm Thighs and front of shins - 20mm back of shins - 25mm II would recommend when building an armor to look at other's Building Threads , High levels aprovals post, reference Photos and videos.
