  1. They are from Henry's fans. I bought them through trooperbay. I was surprised that it didn't come with instructions
  2. Hey. I am starting to install my cooling fans. YouTube seems a bit sparse for step by step install tutorials. Maybe I am not searching the right terms. Maybe you guys may know of any good step by step guides.
  3. Okay. The helmet is already assembled. I was just wanting to figure out how to get that flush alignment with the eye holes. Thanks for the tip.
  4. Hey guys. It has been a while since I have been here. Work has been crazy and started charity streaming with friends. I am back at it with my ANH Stunt TK. I am currently working on the helmet and could use some advice. When attaching the green visor, should I just use E-6000 on the edges and around the eyes for a flush look or is there a better way? From my research, I have seen people drill holes that match the ear screws. I would do that but I am not confident in my alignment skills. I do have a spare visor but my funds for additional parts has been cut to effectively zero since summer school is in session and my job has no overtime. Any tips would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I would imagine that UV protective case would totally help protect it between conventions. I did a google search about protecting signatures on plastic. The common consensus are the following tips: 1. invest in a UV protective case. 2. don't use varnish or coating, unless you are a professional and use extreme caution. If you use the wrong varnish, the age of each signature, different ink compounds, the climate you live in, etc will affect the lifespan. Lastly, 3. DON'T TOUCH IT!! The oils on human skin break down the inks. 6. Ohhhh! I'm dumb. ha ha ha. Thanks. Will do that during my lunch break.
  7. Well, the decal is individual bars. Not one sticker.
  8. Kind of a noob question. I am not confident enough to point on the blue cheek stripes. Instead I am going to use the decal from AP until I am more confident in painting. I want to make my armor Level 3. Are there any guidelines in reference to how far apart the stripes have to be? I looked at the photos and cant put my finger on the width between them. I may seem like I am over analyzing.
  9. Oh!! Okay. So I am better off sticking with E-6000. Ha. See what I did there?
  10. I know the go to adhesive is E-6000 but a friend of mine swears by "Bondo". I was doing research but all results are geared towards metal (cars in particular). My buddy does collision repair and he told me the best product to seal two pieces (i.e the legs and forearms of my TK) is Bondo. Let it cure then sand it down for a seamless finish. I was hoping to get the community's input before I do anything too crazy.
  11. I just sent them an email with the order number asking if I can exchange for the next size up. Fingers crossed.
  12. I ordered a 14 inch seal. It is a bit "snug". Maybe I can contact trooperbay to exchange to one inch higher.
  13. I am assuming you filed a police report. Was your name or your TK# marked on the helmet?
  14. I am planning on ordering my neck seal from trooperbay. They go with the standard S,M,L,XL, &XXL sizes. What size should I go for and how should it fit? I am assuming a pretty snug fit.
  15. I would say my body build is borderline average to fit. I am going to hold off until I can figure out my "plan of attack" when it comes to getting my armor together. I am in the process of getting a new job and don't know the work schedule.
