  1. HAHAHA!!! you have never heard of the TK waddle?!?!? yeah that's gonna happen. you just have to walk with your legs out a bit. Or take the return edge off and make them tighter
  2. If i might ask, why would you want them adjustable? once they are on at the right place, they dont need to move from there. Most people either put snaps with an elastic band running between the 2 parts, or glue the parts together. If you go look through the pre approval threads, or the WIP threads you should see tons of pictures of this.
  3. I put mind about even with the top and bottom. any edges. the tricky ones are on the legs, there are some that should not go all the way, depending on which part. Also need to check on the corners, I cant remember if they are to be cut rounded or at an angle like you have yours.
  4. Have you started a build thread? this would also be a great way to get answers to your questions, be able to post pics and let us know whats going on
  5. Everything looks pretty good. I would suggest getting those shins on first, before you make anything permanent. doesn't look like you will have issues but just to be sure. Also with the hot water bath, you may have some issue with the glue, but if it comes apart just redo it. getting the fitment is more important than trying not to redo something one other thing, you wont be able to wear that compression top, because you can see the underarmor log in the back...
  6. I just took a scrap piece I had laying around, and used that. its not even something that is checked on, most do it for their own pleasure.
  7. head scratcher, you say in the OP you don't want to post your face till your approved. but then say you cant because of your job. Might make trooping kind of hard because people take photos behind the scenes and post them. kinda curious as to what you do for a living that would require you not to be on the internet. are you wanted by the empire and trying to hide among us???
  8. @CoatHanger get your request in for access to the 501st section! lets get that member status changed!
  9. I used snaps. this way I can separate the belts if I need to do any work on one or the other. also can interchange them if ever needed. say I can double the cloth belt for something else.
  10. You may have them on the wrong legs. if you look at the calves there is one side that shoots inward more than the outside. that goes to the inside of the leg. trying switching them around. unless your kit is marked, then im not sure. but you shouldn't feel awkward in them And the Bicep hooks should work. if they aren't then something with your biceps isn't fitting right. the way your bicep is supposed to tuck under your shoulder there should be no issue using the hook. I have the hook, and on the "outside" interior I put a strap to keep them up and in the shoulder bell. I put the hooks for accuracy and stability. I have never seen anyone put a snap/strap at that location, so let us know hos that turns out. I think your gonna have some irritation and rubbing on the armor that your not gonna like
  11. Yay!!! but your not done yet trooper! Celebrate, then submit your app for EIB!
  12. Also, if your going for Centurion, those mic tips need to be painted white around the rim
  13. Contact AM, they build for bigger guys. they often sell thighs as well. if the color matches, you might just get AM thighs so you don't have to shim them. just a thought
  14. To kinda go along with this, and to be a little bit of a stickler, the TD could be rotated more to the front. it might be because of the clips themselves (did you make them or buy them somewhere?) you should be able to see the control panel and the "button" on the ABS plate in the rear photo. just one of those nitpicky things
  15. Also, so your aware, you must make the corrections asked of you, and then retake photos in full kit to achieve the rank of Centurion, you can not just "fix" them and post the photo of the fix, must be shown in full kit. THANKS!
  16. I could be wrong, but i believe the photos have to be applied to the submission and not through a link. I dont think the link to the preapproval is required, but a nice touch
  17. Hovi Tips need to be painted white around the rim. Belt needs to come down a little, your covering the bottom buttons on the small button plate Those are really my only suggestions. Looks great and should be an easy pass for EIB!
  18. I believe you are missing some photos. need front, back, and both sides of helmet
  19. yea if your gonna need room inside the bicep, take the rest of that return edge off. a tiny bit of return can make a big difference between comfort and wrong fitment. I would also suggest that on your right bicep, round that top corner off. it looks painful lol
  20. The bicep should be round all the way around. for best fit.
  21. gotcha just wanted to be sure. sorry im throwing a lot at you in several different comments lol
  22. the only return edge you HAVE to have or do anything with is the wrist side of the forearms, those have to go, everything else is your preference and due to fitment. you could take every return edge off if you wanted. The reason most keep them, is to give the armor "thickness" but its not necessary. the other reason is if you want the traditional strapping system inside the armor, but that has nothing to do with your shoulders, the shoulder return can come right off no problem I worry that if you cut the bicep, it will then be too short, and with any kind of movement, the shoulder will slip overtop and wedge itself inside. IDK honestly you may have made them too small (to put your arm in)
  23. Also! the bicep with the "Thumb print" should be on the left arm
  24. And yes, that strap should be pretty tight, no super tight, but it shouldn't sag like that when its off you
