54. Maker Faire Rochester, 16 November 2024 An annual favorite to troop. This year's was a bit smaller than previous - previous years' were held on both floors of the Rochester Convention Center; this year's was the field of the Rochester Institute of Technology's field house. 53. Brick Fest Live, 3 November 2024 We had a better turnout the second day, trooper wise. The other trooper is @Mordenkainen44.

52. Brick Fest Live, 2 November 2024 This was the first time a Brick Fest was in our Garrison's area and available to troop at. Going by others' pictures, this was a smaller traveling exhibit (which was just as well, as the first day only two of us were able to troop it).

You joke, but @tdurden had it queued up in his Vader for awhile there.

Nerf Gatling guns? And I thought the automatic Nerf guns the Canadian Garrison uses could be ridiculous. (Fun, but ridiculous)

Just completed #50 yesterday

50! Nickel City Comic Con, 13 October 2024 So this troop began with my right shoulder bridge snapping in half (thanks given for garrison mates with white duct tape!) and the snap connecting my left shoulder bell strap to my shoulder elastic coming apart (a fix was MacGyvered). But after that - fun was had by all. I don't have copies of these pictures yet, but the Garrison presented welcome bags to guest celebrities and Star Wars actors Deep Roy, Jeryl Prescott, and Jon Abrahams. Still not the droid I'm looking for: An actor named William Shatner from another franchise was supposed to be there, but all I saw was his chair:

48. Flower City Comic Con, 15 September 2024 One of our members bought a very nicely designed white lightsaber with black trim (perfect TK colors!) which I had to pose with: Question: Is this a Jawa problem, or a droid problem?

So that was $2 per approved costume, and another $1 per WIP ... Just kidding. Donated.

Focus on the ROTK USB port on the ab buttons - that's what I noticed first.

47. North American Science Fiction Convention, 20 July 2024 This was a first for our garrison, so there were a couple of small hiccups. What was planned as a three-day troop for us a single day. And with us in the convention center and most of the scheduled events in the adjacent hotel, we were limited in our trooping. But there are always good points about every troop: I got a couple of autographs from Guest of Honor Alan Dean Foster when he visited our table: I saw this during my first troop in the convention center a couple of years ago, but hadn't gotten a picture yet: This planet doesn't look familiar ... You are here: (Actually you weren't there; you were an inch-and-a-half east-northeast (insert "aim" joke [here]).)

46. Nickel City Comic Con, 30 June 2024 Day 2 was spent in my Mandolorian Death Watch, so no pictures of that here, or @Doggydoc in his Darth Maul ... We are kind of sparse Upstate, so you're more likely to get useful help here, but there might be a couple unbuilt and unwanted Stormtrooper kits floating around the Garrison.

44. Webster/Rochester Library Summer Reading Kick-off; 21 June 2024 This was the second time I've done this troop. Thankfully the temperatures dropped from the low 90s earlier in the week to more comfortable 80℉ (34 to 26℃).
