  2. Didn’t need a New Years Resolution of joining a gym to get sexy legs. Check out the latest work in progress build of the First Order armour kit by Imperial Surplus. Happy New Year all. CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhgw-guQ7aw
  3. On the latest parts I did just that and sanded the material which gave a much stronger bond. Regarding the welded parts, I'll keep everyone updated to the performance in the form of a video of me in tears or trooping with a smile depending if it breaks lol
  4. No need for the gym to get biceps... Make them! Grrrr tiger! CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO:
  5. Latest video update. Checkout my cod-piece and butt! Surprisingly, I thought this would be simple. But it's the webbing and working out how it all attaches that made it challenging. CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO: https://youtu.be/1cispAOi0JQ
  6. Here's the 3D files I made which others are more than welcome to download. First Order Stormtrooper Front Belt Box Blocks (For the Imperial Surplus Kit) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5098627 First Order Belt Pouch Filler (For Trooper Bay Pouches) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5098577
  7. Perhaps the most difficult section of the armour to build. Might remake it as some point in the future. But I think it came out ok. CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO: https://youtu.be/dnkgUKac47Y
  8. Hi all, other than locating the front two boxes either side of the snap that's centre of the crotch piece. I'm having trouble finding a definitive answer to the spacing between belt boxes from each other. Any qualified feedback is welcomed.
  9. Stormtrooper abdomen armour section completed! Wearing this section is so satisfying especially after all the work that has gone into it. I better make sure I don’t develop Dad-bod CHECK OUT THE LATEST VIDEO HERE > https://youtu.be/9saHuHEMmos
  10. To give my Stormtrooper armour a narrative as well as protect it when knocked about at home while in storage. I’ve sewn themed bags specifically to the size and shape of each armour piece. Made as if how the trooper in the Star Wars world would be presented their armour. Click here for the video: https://youtu.be/Jyv_SsCUAuY
  11. *EDIT: I've since discovered the FA Thermal Detonator has a visable seam between the canister and backplate. I will redo this at some point, but for now this will still look passable. Awkward to join without lots of gaps due to it being a multiple part vac-form. But I got there in the end with endless filler, paint and repeat. VIDEO LINK HERE: https://youtu.be/14oshMvuUNw
  12. My cheap solution paint spraying larger props & models such as my First Order Storm Trooper armour. Ideal for those with no indoor space or facilities to extract sticky dangerous fumes while protecting the wet paint from flies using it as a landing pad. CLICK LINK FOR VIDEO: https://youtu.be/hZPFkW87dy0
  13. Perhaps the easiest part of the build. It was a great part to experiment how I was going to paint the whole armour... CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzEW1lIb8Fg
  14. Episode 4 of my Storm Trooper armour build now available to stream. One of the larger parts that took up a lot of space. One day I’ll look back at this from my huge fully equipped Tony Stark Iron Man style workshop and be amazed how I did it... Where there’s a will, there’s a way. VIDEO AVAILABLE HERE: https://youtu.be/yKlwKIu-TPs My special addition to the armour with breathable mesh interior.
