They won`t help against scratches but they help getting it on the belt especially if one likes to be able to dress without a handler (like me) you could try and sand the edges as smooth as possible but I didn`t bother since it won`t show when wearing the belt...and you always do

What size cover strip do you need to cover the raised edges? If I were you and I didn`t "have to go bigger" I would use slightly bigger for the thighs 22-23 and 20 for front of shins. Back of shins should never be smaller than 25 otherwise it might get tricky to hide the seem. And it`s also how they did it in the movie

Yeah half a stormtrooper-dance My first suggestion would be that you fiddle around your picture host so you learn how to post your pics so we don`t break our necks just messing with you Frank Second it looks like you got some overlap on back/kidney/but, they should be butted upp against each other, so I would check on that...could just simply be an issue of it all not beeing strapped together yet...and for the shoulder bells they mean the shoulder bridges (plastic covers) that go front to back...just keeping the bells touching the elastic might not help if one need some tension...for me I needed a little pull to draw the bells closer. This didn`t work for me, I had to shorten the (black) elastic so there was some tension, the (plastic) shoulder bridges rides over the white elastic I´m holding. Here you see the bells upp against the covers aka shoulder bridges. Some also use webbing instead of elastic to keep it tight together. Interior strapping is totaly about personal preference and don`t affect any level of approval, if you wondered....unless....it affects the outside of course

Back of thighs look fine..hard to tell for sure when they aren`t fully closed and the buttplate flares out a bit, if you could take pics with it taped together more that would help but all in all I would say it looks just fine - coming together nicely

I´m sorry to say but unless you know exactly how to build and a very skilled builder it`s not realistic to build in 10 Days, most take months and even years...granted they don`t work 24/7 on their armor, look at armorbuilding with TK1636 on Youtube for a complete turtorial and you still need to get your armor, which is also almost impossible in that timeframe (sorry to be MrNegative) and for that I would recomend scouting FB for listings and all other sites that sell stuff, you might get lucky.....HOWEVER I you are interested in 501 standard it would take som effort to "know what to buy"..if you just want something for the TLJ then there`s always Ebay (90% BAD armor and recasters) MTK (trooperbay) is sometimes found on Ebay and that is GREAT ARMOR...or someone sells their ANOVOS Kit at a higher price but...if you need it this quick, it might be your only option and if you got more money than you can spend that also helps and...seeing as I already "shot you down" I might as well point out that for 501st approval the black series helmet don`t go with original trilogy armor - and som postitives, yes there is some - the general public won`t notice if you have the black series helmet mixed with OT armor - they see a Stormtrooper. I really hope you succeed
