  1. Well life got in the way, but a recent purchase has spurred my interest in getting things from box to built. Got a very cool Skull Trooper Helmet. Anyways I found my old thread here. Courage is lacking on my part to start but I need to just start. Sent from my Phone 2 using Tapatalk
  2. My AM kit came with two abs belts. One good for basic the other good for centuion. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  3. Looks great! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  4. Do you have a how to on using magnets on the shins? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  5. So I'm going through my parts and labeling the Right side parts so I don't accidentally mix things up. I have more than enough fabric for making my canvas belt so I cut a bit off for magnets. I have enough fabric to build two canvas belts with some ribbing so they don't flop around. i'll build one to the HWT standard and the other to an ANH standard. And here's some easy to pull apart magnets: And I found Navajo bro's build thread with AM2 kit, so I'll follow it as well as some of the others. I think I'm fairly ready to start assembly but I've got some reading to do before I start my first cut..... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32531-navajo-bros-am-20-stunt-build/
  6. Looks like the T-21 would be dropped from the updated CRL? Not a big deal, but for me I like the HWT because it had the T-21 listed and I wouldn't have to weather the armor like a Sandy. So I could easily swap between two possible costumes by having two belts and polishing off the battle damage. An ANH TK and then the HWT. I just like the T-21 so for me to keep it I'd have to turn sandy. I have no idea the number of HWTs out there, so it may not be a big deal. But T-21 are fairly expensive if you bought one. Wouldn't that cause a little grief removing it from the CRL for other members?
  7. A good supply list is provided by JustJoseph63 can be found here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/ UKSWRATH Avonos build is pretty much the go to thread around here. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/ And if you're like me and need something more than just pictures, thankfully trooperbay put together some Tutorials on youtube found here: https://www.youtube.com/user/TK4510DECALS And to give credit where credit is due, I've been following Jaltroopers build thread here which he has some vendors he purchased through on there. I ended up using the same vendors and everything arrived as ordered! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/39748-jaltroopers-anh-stunt-tall-guy-newbie-am-20-build/ I have yet to start building but all the above should get you pointed in the right direction. Also if you're doing a Sandy then you might want to check out http://forum.mepd.net/ as they are the experts on Sandtroopers.
  8. Hope you can recover from your mistake. You're so close to being finished. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  9. I do have a question about strapping. I understand how the brackets will work, but I'm still a little fuzzy on the double snaps single snap thing. Looks like the thighs need a garter system that will use webbing and snaps hung of a belt. I've decided to build my own garter system with black belt and build my own white canvas belt. So here's the question.... Shoulder / bicep / forearms can webbing be used instead of elastic? If webbing can't or shouldn't be used, what about using elastic with snaps, gluing webbing in with snaps and then affixing the elastic with snaps. This way I don't ever have to un-glue anything but I can replace the elastic as needed. Also could I double the thickness of the elastic? Say I need six inches from bicep to forearm, could I make it 12 and double it over to 6 and put a few line tacks in with the sewing machine so I have double thickness on the elastic.
  10. Still collecting things, got these beauties in..... Thank you Mr. NoStripe and Joseph!
  11. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/39692-TKTalkie-V2.0-Released! Adding this here because this sounds like a great diy thing for comms. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  12. Only me setting? I didn't figure that would work. I guess you're by passing facebook security because you're posting the url for the picture directly in the post on here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
  13. Finally completely unboxed! I'm glad I'm use to having extra parts whenever I finish things. Wow this is going to be a task!
  14. Here's some of the tools, I don't have everything listed but I do have a bunch of it. I'll be looking into other tools I will need.
  15. Here's the under armor stuff I was talking about in the OP. Hopefully the small top stays tight enough and I may be buying other bottoms if gym time goes right. But for now this is everything I plan on using underneath unless things don't meet centurion level.
