  1. Just wanted to say the forums have been super smooth for me since the update. Before each page took 3-5s to load now it's almost instant. Great behind the scenes work from what I can tell
  2. Good luck trooper! Quick fixes on the blaster and frown

  5. Congrats! We'd love to see a troop log too! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/13-field-training-exercises/
  6. 501st Troop: 50 FISD Troop: 18 Event: Big Apple Con Location: Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, NYC Date: 11/23/24 Ok this was a highlight of the year for me. I got to meet Anthony Forrest who's the original "Move Along" trooper! He's incredibly kind and enthusiastic about his role as a stormtrooper. The autographed pictures was a cool behind the scenes look where he said that the other troopers stood on the landspeeder platforms since they were shorter than him in order for all the sandtroopers to have the same hight (he's the tall one). Also look how busted up the back of their calves were. He also said that his bucket didn't even have the "star" yellow foam and he just took it off as often as he could in the heat. But my favorite part was getting to do the "Move Along" with him. Dream come true (video link at the bottom) Instagram link of the "Move Along" video if interested: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCzLRayOajN/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  7. Hey awesome and congrats!!
  8. Congrats! Looking forward to pictures and hopefully EIB
  9. Welcome! EIB was a blast for me. I hope you enjoy the process and welcome!
  10. What armor kit do you have? Also where are you on your build? Are you still in the trimming phase? If it helps this is my version1.0 of a document I made going over every detail I could on building mine. I have lots of pics of the waist and legs if it helps: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zDc4mtEDg0A_SfHcZXgXtmkzhSrBwaReTHWvdrcmMJg/edit?usp=sharing
  11. 501st Troop: 49 FISD Troop: 17 Event: Intrepid Gift of Thanks Location: Intrepid Aircraft Carrier Museum Date: 11/28/24 One of the best troops I've had for pics! The museum staff let us on the catwalks and hangar deck for some amazing night pictures with NYC in the background So many good photos it was hard to choose!
  12. Hey congrats! Super excited to help welcome you to EIB!
  13. When in doubt leave as much plastic as possible but definitely trim for comfort. If it helps here's the shape of mine. Keep in mind there is some leeway on what is acceptable as each cover strip and armor seam is unique
  14. Yes! Looking so good trooper! More than happy to see you make it here 10 days after your EIB submission! Wow!
