  1. So I took a look at my R1 biceps I have and yeeeeah they’re not right. So looks like I’ll be getting them in the kit after all
  2. After looking through the two and comparing images, I went with the OxProps file for the mortar. It's more detailed and looks more accurate. There were a couple things on the Empire3D file that were off or missing. So now I've got the files for the mortar and the backpack, and a friend of mine is going to print them for me. So stay tuned!
  3. This version has the legs, so that’s a plus. I’ll have to do some comparisons when I get home.
  4. Noticed the standee *does* have the zipper clearly shown on the boot. Odd... but I'll accept it. So disregard the last post.
  5. New detail noticed: There doesn't seem to be a zipper on the inside of the boot. It has the curved seam like the R1 boot but without the side zipper. A view of the back shows them with a strip of leather. So potentially R1 style boots without a zipper?
  6. I updated my shopping list based on what's been discussed here. Helmet: Jimmiroquai Armor: Jimmiroquai Gloves: R1 style gloves, in hand. (IB) Boots: Imperial Boots - Anthology (Backup pair of ANH style boots as a temporary stand-in) Undersuit: Jimmiroquai Neck seal: Included on Jim's suit Pauldron: Jimmiroquai Backpack: 3D printing using OxProps' files. Mortar launcher: Also OxProps
  7. I just noticed, the artillery trooper is NOT wearing his own thermal detonator in the show, despite the Sideshow figure depicting him with one. An argument could theoretically be made the first detonator he launches could have been the one on his belt, but that pack sits way too low and obstructs where the detonator would rest.
  8. That is a GREAT image. I’m going to use that one to find the right color paint. Also gives us the name of the mortar launcher. Model 201. I’ll work on photoshopping that later for the CRL
  9. I took that picture of the commander and brightened it in hopes of seeing the dark areas. Think it’s safe to say unribbed.
  10. I went back and rewatched the scene with Boba, and there’s a part where he flips the commander. Sorry about the somewhat poor quality, I’m mobile right now.
  11. I’m leaning towards just getting a regular suit like all the other ones to start, then modifying it if it comes out the thighs are indeed unribbed.
  12. So I'll definitely be getting a new suit then. Jimmi's looks great so I'll just get that with my armor kit. As for the thighs/seat, I'd say so. I took the picture of the Celebration trooper and brightened it up, there's definitely ribbing there.
  13. So I put the Sideshow AT next to the screen-used AT from the standee, and it's much easier to make some observations when the two are right next to each other. For example, the screen-used trooper might not used the ribbed undersuit. It seems to use an untextured black undersuit. Looking closely, it's hard to tell if those are ribs or wrinkles. Can somebody with a sharper eye chime in?
  14. I’m buying that standee for reference. I’ll take any good references I can get.
  15. Do you think the paint would be able to match the pauldron? In my opinion the pauldron seems a bit more tan than the paint of you compare the two. reposting again actually, looking at the two again.... they do look to be the same color, just fabric obviously won’t gleam as well as painted plastic does.
  16. Great news! Jim got back to me, his helmets have the chin gap detail molded in, so I suppose I’d just have to color it in black. And he said he can also do the pauldron in the custom yellow color as well.
  17. Sheesh the difference is substantial! You just made me decide definitely on Jimmi’s kit.
  18. The biceps I have are from a Mudtrooper build I was going to do, that’s why I have them at least, they’re the same biceps for R1/Solo. Sorry for the confusion, I should’ve clarified that.
  19. Seeing that full build makes me curious, what do you say about 850? I’ve heard good things.
  20. Just remembered I have bicep armor already from a different build I was going to do. So I guess I’ll have some biceps to work on while I research and wait!
  21. Going to be interesting trying to replicate that detail. Might have to cannibalize a second helmet to get it.
  22. I immediately noticed this on the helmet. Was it ever found out what that lip is? I remember a discussion about it months ago.
  23. This shot here shows me the pauldron is definitely the three-sectioned pauldron used in R1, but it’s in a new color that matches the paint of the Trooper’s yellow scheme. Trooperbay sells the correct pauldrons, but only in black and orange. I wonder if he’d do a custom color.... as soon as I find the correct shade of yellow.
