  1. Same part I'm working on thanks for bringing this up Andy! And thanks for the tips Joe and Vern.
  2. Little worried. From what I see the biceps have a bit of a return edge on some parts any links of how you guys did it or what you used from reference?
  3. This helps a bit I am in the process of cutting cover strips myself
  4. Brilliant work man! You're flying along I found this helpful for when I have to do my shins.
  5. Good to know. I am working on the arm parts for the moment. Forearms are trimmed and sanded working on the biceps now. probably should consider cutting my cover strips and making snaps
  6. well I'm not entirely sure just judging on the curvature of each side. Anatomically, like the are more pronounced curves on the outsides of your forearms when you put your hands palmside up
  7. Ok that answers the top but what about the smooth bottom portion?
  8. Good call bro, I used the score and snap method and then 80 grit, 120 grit and 240 grit sandpaper. Thatsa smootha edga
  9. I went to bed shortly after this lol... ANYWAY, seriously guys from all of the trimmed forearms I have seen in the build threads and Cen applications, there is no return edge on either end of the forearm. Am I correct? also any other good tutorials for trimming the excess? I haven't trimmed the sides yet. I Saw Aaron's idea of using a ruler and clamps at the mold lines that seems like a good idea.
  10. I was asking about this as well! The same company, they make a DLT-19 That I am very interested in.
  11. this wasn't even a good lens. but the depth of field looks deeeecent
  12. k guys I'm working on the for arms while I wait for the epoxy to dry on my lenses. CRL says no return edge on the fron of the forearm. am I trimming these right and can someone tell me which side is which?
  13. Oh I forgot to mention last night I also installed my new mic tips on the ESB bucket I will show my progress when I get home from work, and have downed at least 1 beer lol
  14. I need to use my Canon DSLR my phone's convenience is being over-shadowed by its inability to take a clear picture.
  15. Man I want all the blasters. getting a DLT is my dream but a t21 and SE14 would be awesome too
  16. Just a side note that I'm kind of proud of on the old bucket I made those hovi tips myself they came in a rough resin that I cleaned up installed the innards, painted and installed the screen.
  17. and I know I am going to obsess all day about how I can fix the screws and nuts in the lenses. THey are a bit messy looking and asymmetrical but we'll see how far I go to rectify this.
  18. yeah I am worried about this as I didn't let it set long enough last night and one of my screws came loose, no pun intended lol.
  19. My fiancee wants to do a Jawa too, at 5'2" she is the perfect size lol. However neither of us know how to use a sewing machine. Better call Mom lmao
  20. Dude and this you should grab those stunt ears and we can both try this!
  21. O man. I actually am looking forward to painting my bucket. I love building models and I am an artist at heart. I like the assembly but paint is my favourite part. I could do without all of the trimming though
