  1. Well done mate - you’ll kill it
  2. You should also be able to see the requirements in the CRL pages on the 501st website.
  3. Hi mate - have you joined the Mos Eisley Forums? - www.mepd.net Sandys are under their banner.
  4. Hey Nada Definitely fans in helmet. You'll regret it if you don't. Talk to Sly11 re fans Regarding the amp/fx etc, I started my journey with an AKer amp and just a headset mic. I didn't get an iComm as I kept putting it off and to be honest the Aker by itself was fine. Then I went bats$#t crazy and went with a TRAMP setup from the UK - Bluetooth mic in the helmet and the amp/speaker in my chestplate. It has built in chirps, loops, the whole shebang. I also have the remote in my glove to prompt TK quotes on cue. TOTAL OVERKILL but I love it! But be warned - the cost from the UK to OZ is pricey. https://www.facebook.com/trooperamp/ - I thought if I'm going to do it I may as well go the whole hog, right?
  5. What colour red did you use?
  6. My armour is from CFO and I am also more off white than white - I used a can of spray paint from Bunnings in Colourbond Surfeits ( used to be called off white ) worked for me. I also painted my white gasket trim around the armour with it as there was a bit of a difference between the armour and the gasket/trim - it matched spot on for me so maybe give that a go - just spray some onto a plastic plate or lid etc and then use a brush to transfer it onto the rivets.
  7. I don't feel so lonely now! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Looks great mate - you're right with the padding - the shoulders tend to sit out and a little higher - I padded mine to get through EIB and Centurion - you've done a great job mate Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Looking great mate - the decals do look dark - it's a funny one with the decals - it seems to depend on which garrison you're and who does the approvals - I know K@nne got approved with CFO decals, yet I had the same ones and got picked up on them. I found some on eBay from somewhere in Sth America but I think he sold out. It's all coming together mate, glad you got your new bucket!
  10. Coming along well!
  11. Yep if you're going for approval and higher don't use the coverstrip method - you'll definitely have to use padding - maybe try and color it black so it blends with the undersuit a little - but stay true to the CRL during the build so you don't need to change anything. Looking great so far! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I know! I've got frog legs - one of the only times I'm grateful - my shins are tight at the boot so I was thinking of shims to open it up - arms were fine as were thighs - my cuts which you can see in my build were not great so I would have probably done them differentmy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
