Most of the time people one shim on each side of the kidney. Unless you're a thicker trooper then two may be required. The seam should be about mid section on your side. Hope this helps.
I like my antenna! I like to think that in a galaxy far far away. They have blasters and lightsabers but need an antenna for the RADIO on our backs. Modern technology!
Looks good Scott! Just pull those shoulder bells in at top. They should be right up to the bridges and pull your belt up a good inch. It should be right up to the bottom buttons. That's all I see in that picture. Well done! Can't wait to see your EIB application Trooper!
Great job on your armor Braff! Also the pictures can be seen by newbies to see how others have done it. Plus we like pictures! Hope to see you approved soon and heading to the EIB submission section.
Looks like FX to me. And in bad shape too. I'd charge the person a $100 to throw it away for them. Check out the Getting Started section. It has a lot of information for you to check out. Look at the pictures of troopers in the Advanced Tactics section to see what armor should look like Andrew. And welcome to the FISD Future Trooper!
Some brands can be turned inside out and it's all black. Then logo isnt an issue. Mind you, that's only some brands. I have a pair of Nike pants that I wear backwards and no one knows! Shhhh, don't tell on me!
Lol! I can't tell you to hurry for a TK#. That would be wrong. Take your time and do it right is always thr best advice. There's a place to see available #'s but it's been so long I can't remember where it was. I'm sure someone will chime in with the link if you haven't found it already. I'll have to keep an eye on your build so I can see how Steve is coming along. Maybe someday your son will make a friend for him.

I believe the pose is ok. You can't point the blaster at them. But you can put your hand on the sholder while pointing your blaster up in the air. That pose is always asked for by us. We even do the frisk pose with them too. "Up against the wall Rebel!"
Steve? Is starting to come together well Kevin. A little tip when it comes to sizing is to wear the compression top and bottom. Keep up the good work and if you run into trouble just ask for help.
