Jen tell your friend if it's covered by the ear it never happened. And I don't think those gloves will pass with that rubber stuff on fingertips. Have you looked at nomex? If your aiming for Centurion which I'm sure you are you'll need to find rubber gloves. The ears came out great BTW. Keep up the good work!

We give guidance through the fun of putting it together. You can start a build thread here as well as your home garrison to get many eyes and help along the way. Go sign up and then get to reading on the different armor makers. It's the most expensive part so take your time and figure what fits you best.

WE FEAR CHANGE! Just kidding. I don't own it but it's not a bad kit. A few friends have it so I've seen it in hand. It's thin in spots but if tou take care of it you should be fine. Keep eye out for stress cracks in return edges. Another downer is no spare parts. And it would be a good guess that there won't be any offered. So that's not so bad considering you didn't wait for it. So just take your time and be sure before you cut. Hope to see you aim for the Advanced Tactics section. For me I trimmed return edge off on the inside edge of bicep and forarm. Leaving a bit on outside edge for illusion of thickness. Remember to remove all return edge at wrist side. Do the pc.s fit now taped up for test fitting? If so then good. If not trim a little more.

RT is still making armor. Rob is away for work so sometimes it's a bit before he answers. Just give it some time. Both choices would work well for your build.

Yikes! Who do you think you are? Luke Skywalker! well you cut all of it off. You need it across the bottom for sure and you should have a little on the armpit curves. At the minimum. You could take an Iron and cover with white cotton shirt and warm up abs and bend new edge. It would be tough across bottom. But could be done. The question is how will it look after and can you lose some size and keep the Ab covered. What make of armor is it? Maybe just get a replacement and lesson learned to do your research. Know for sure before you cut anything. Good Luck!

MTK is a good kit. Mike is a member and also has TrooperBay.com for other bits. Also in that range is WTF.(Walt's Trooper Factory) you have to find them on Facebook and sign up to there page to communicate the easiest. Good Luck and glad you chose the Empire!

I think Mike at TrooperBay sells abs for coverstrips. The color should be close enough for those small strips.
