  1. Did somebody say HWT? Oh yeah!!!!!
  2. You can have a gap to get basic approval. The gap needs to close up for Centurion. A 1/2" gap is acceptable for EIB. So get approval and get walking Trooper!
  3. The shim needs to sit flush to the kidney. This is clearly behind it. When shim is made flush fill seam with abs paste and sand and polish smooth. Leaving only one seam on side. Hope this helps. Good Luck on your application!
  4. Congratulations! Looking good!
  5. Congratulations Antonio! #750 is a easy one to remember! We're 3/4 of the way to 1000 with your approval! Well done!
  6. FX is still approvable. But not the helmet. Just take your time in trimming and get a good fit and you should be fine. You could even get your EIB with FX. But no higher. Good Luck!
  7. Good Luck with your build Sean! Novus will fix that scratch. Just aim before you fire from now on Have fun on your adventure!
  8. Welcome to the FISD Alex! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  9. When in doubt check out what someone else did. Look up Centurion application photo's. Each one has a photo of the interior strapping. It's actually good to check out a bunch and see all the different ways others have done it. Especially with the ab/kidney connections.
  10. The shape is fine. Just trim the return edge down. I trim to a small return edge at the neck. Just enough to keep rigid. 2mm or so.
  11. Your sides did look long. That's an answer Tony or Sly should answer. I would say do the notch and lose 22mm off sides of butt plate. But wait for more opinions to be safe.
  12. Hmmm, I always remembered 20mm down and 10mm in from edge. From the arrows it looks like the left bottom would end up over your belt line and thats no good. What would it look like if you measured up from crease 22mm and centered middle one? And for your notch question it is no longer required. It's covered by belt anyway.
  13. Yeah you don't need to paint. Thanks to modern plastic! Any other questions feel free to ask.
  14. Coming along nicely!
  15. It's a really nice patch Zac! Just sayin'
  16. Any ATA build thread should work. ANH and ESB are same armor. With just a few changes between both.
  17. Foam will help keep things aligned later. With any armor you can only trim it down so far. Plus figure you dont want skinny limbs on a torso you can't shrink down.
  18. Centurion is the highest level of movie accurate.Which is above Expert Infantry which is the first level of achievement. It's all in section. We are all brothers and sisters but it is nice when a fan tells you how awesome you look. Then it is worth the effort. For the fans to feel you walked off the screen.
  19. Welcome to the FISD! Not much to add to the great info you just got but to say check out the Advanced Tactics section and look at some Centurion application's that used AP. It will be in these [ ]. Aiming for Centurion is easier from the start rather then modding later. The benefits show, trust me! Just take your time. You doing your best makes Us look our best! Good Luck Future Trooper!
