  1. Congratulations Trooper! Have fun out there!
  2. Butt joint is how the two halves are put together for ANH and ESB armor with coverstrips. ROTJ is put together over lap style. It will take a little time but soon you'll get all the lingo down.
  3. Congratulations! Looking sharp and well armed!
  4. Also not to be sounding blunt but sizing only gets you so far in TK armor. The limbs can be adjusted but not torso. RS is designed for 5'8ish 170lb.ish. anything bigger then that and stuff dont fit right. IE. Shoulders being to wide for chest and bells to fit and look right. Again not knocking a fellow Trooper. Just making an observation

The bottom one had to be wider to hide clips.
  6. I wear the rubber ones all the time. They're accurate. I live with the sweat. A Troopers life I just couldn't bring myself to use a plastic handguard.
  7. I think ATA or WTF could help you. You can find their info in the vetted makers thread.
  8. Congratulations! Way to go Jorge!

Yes front of calves and thighs match. You seem surprised? What would be the problem? Big calves?
  10. ESB and ANH is the same armor. Many people just get a different bucket and belt/holster and switch between the two. Once you do some research you'll learn the differences. ESB is a good build. There's far less compared to ANH. Good Luck! And do some reading!

I'll take door #2 All 20mm except 25mm for back of calves Sir.
  12. Jorge looking good! Just to let you know PB ate your original photos. You may need to suit up and take fresh one's. It's my pleasure helping and trooping with you! Good Luck!
  13. Welcome to the FISD Jacob! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  14. From the picture they dont look bad. I think you'll be fine if you quit saying they're leather solesJK Make sure you clean them back to leather before you paint. I use acetone and some rags and elbow grease. If you don't get that finish off the new paint won't stick.
  15. Aaron you're my Hero! Good Luck!
  16. Me also. I'd say since the switch to new skin
  17. Aaron I never said they looked big. I said you had them too close to each other in center of belt and made me look right at them being a square of snaps. On side of belt. That's all. I even stated to you snaps were fine per CRL. Looking foward to your EIB soon? Huh Buddy
  18. Maybe they only put UV protectant on one side of abs. And you're seeing how abs would look from sunlight maybe.
  19. Congratulations on BBB Day! I'd check out other ATA build threads or check out Mike's video's over at Trooperbay. I hear people say it has some good info. Not much difference between ATA and MTK for assembly purposes. Good Luck with your build! And know before you cut!
  20. Twi'lek's dig scars Looking foward to your progress!
  21. Looks like your off to a good start. Keep at it and you'll be done before you know it!
  22. Congratulations! Future Heavy
  23. A return edge is not a requirement. But is nice if it's there to create illusion of thickness. I have no return edge on my thighs and reached Centurion. Return edges are nice but can trash an undersuit quick if they have one rough edge. So be sure to sand edge smooth as much as possible.
