  1. Congratulations! That's a fun droid to hang with.
  2. I used black styrene sheet from my local hobby shop for mine. You could also maybe hit up local Pep boys for old wiper blades if going full poor man build.
  3. Forearms are a good starting point. Your going to use the "butt joint" method for ANH/ESB and would use overlap for ROTJ. Butt joint simply is cutting both halves evenly half the width of coverstrip and "butting" together halves and covering with strip. Example your forarms would have a 15mm coverstrip so you would measure from the raised edge on armor 7.5mm and score and snap on that line. I would recommend a inside coverstrip. It adds a lot of strength. For the return edge you want to remove all at wrist end and the elbow end I remove inside arm return edge and leave a little on outside edge to maintain illusion of thichness. Good Luck and ask as many questions you need. Keep us posted with progress photos Future Trooper!
  4. You should post some photos so we can see what your starting with. We like pictures!
  5. RT would work for you. I believe you should look at some (TM)EIB application's with your height and see how they look. Weight isn't your problem I'm guessing. I have RT for the width I'm broad shouldered at can say Rob makes a great sturdy kit and his helmet is made bigger to match armor better. I don't own TM, Yet. But will one day as it is a killer set. I've drooled up close. I think he offers taller shins but I'm not 100% on that. So don't hold me over a Sarlac Pit. Either way, Good Luck Future Trooper!
  6. Go with the clear. I helped someone who used the white and for some weird reason it was hard to get off armor to reglue.
  7. Congratulations Gary! Welcome to the Ranks!
  8. Great photos! Way to go Troopers and congratulations on your first Troop!
  9. Congratulations! Looking sharp! Those are some easy fixes!
  10. Voted
  11. Change the battery. Open it carefully and swap with a new one. That problem happens to me when I forget to shut amp off and battery gets low. I always buy spares just in case.
  12. You're looking good! All your hard work is showing!

    I'm Back

Glad you're better and ready to get back to it!
  14. It does happen. Look at screen shots and even they were worn. You could take some 400 grit sand paper and smooth just the edge of wrist end to help. After trooping for awhile will help smooth plastic edge to dull it down. Looking good BTW!
  15. Congratulations Daniel! Looking sharp! Way to represent!
  16. Congratulations Simon! A few easy things and you'll be at Centurion in no time! Way to represent! Have fun out there!
  17. Overall you look good! One thing though, it looks like you have the coverstrips on the back of your shins on the inside. They should be on outer side of calf. Besides that Good Luck!
  18. Just caught up on your build. Congratulations! Well done all the way through! Have fun out there!
  19. Congratulations! Now have fun out there!
  20. So many great designs!
  21. I'd say Good Luck but you don't need it Sha Sha. Great looking rig all the way around. See you at Centurion soon!
