  1. Congratulations! Welcome to the Ranks!
  2. You'll get the best results with plenty of magnets to put even pressure along the whole coverstrip. And let the glue dry 24 hrs minimum. The longer you leave it the stronger it will be. Avoid putting pressure on glued parts. Take your time. It's not a race, it's a marathon. Looking good!
  3. Definitely have a handler/life saver Good Luck! Hope you make it out of there!
  4. Heavy Weapons Trooper
  5. Congratulations Dominic! Welcome to the Ranks
  6. Congratulations on your approval! Great story. Wait till you do your first troop. It will bring new meaning to the word addictive! Have fun out there Trooper!
  7. Easy fixes. Good Luck on your approval!
  8. Once they pick that member could provide said photos.
  9. You want to remove them. It would tear your boots up quick if not.
  10. I hear you Shawn. It can get confusing for a GML who isn't familiar with the HWT. Shame on them for that but that's a different story. Put all the Centurion in a hat and pick one. All great examples. Can't lose
  11. Coming along nicely! Nice to see a another HWT in the works!
  12. I have RT-MOD and love it. Rob is out on business often so I don't know how long it's been but give him time. TM would be good option also. Looks like you're on the right track Goood Luck Future Trooper!
  13. Congratulations on your first troop! Glad to hear all had fun. Get ready the fun is just starting and it's highly addictive. Some of my most favorite troops are with Hasbro Children's Hospital. Way to go Trooper! And remember, Have fun out there!
  14. I believe you need to have a certain number of posts before you can reply in that section. Say hi to some other new members and get that count up. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  15. Congratulations Greg! Looking sharp!
  16. Good Luck with your approval!
  17. Looking foward to seeing this come together. We don't get many Sandy builds here. Thanks for sharing and Good Luck Future Trooper!
  18. Congratulations! And I hope you had a kitchen table to eat at! Have fun out there!
  19. All FX armor should be piled up and burned! I know it's off topic but IMHO there should be a time limit for that armor. The helmet had a shelf life expire. So should the body. Time to put it with Rubie out to pasture. Carry on with your coverstrips!
  20. Congratulations! You're gonna love Trooping! Have fun out there!
  21. I hope this hasn't turned you off from the hobby. This hobby is an expensive one. And as the old adage says, you get what you pay for. Just save for a bit and grab a set from one of the vetted makers here. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  22. You should be fine. Just make sure coverstrip is even on both halves to keep everything snug for many troops to come. Keep up the good work!

  24. I just wanted to share a pc. of the TKC I really like. The Saber. I've always wanted to mess with the Bathrobes so I figured it's time to climb the ranks to have one. I'm fortunate enough to have a very talented Sabersmith in our Garrison. I commissioned the Starkiller from him aiming for Centurion in mind. And I have to say I was impressed with how people can build these things! So enjoy the pictures! And I hope it's ok to give a shout out to Arm on Fire Sabers. Find him on FB. Cause I just did it! 25. I'm building a Commander myself and I used 8mm double cap rivets for all required. For the Kidney I came in 4mm to the edge of rivet. My armor has the curve on top so I eyed it so rivet looked even and centered for top one and bottom one rides 4mm in and up above belt. The ear bars are up to you. Images have been saved by our great friends here on FISD! Glad to see you going for Centurion! I don't recall finding one in my search. You may be a first. I'm building to Centurion as much as I can with lack of overlap being only setback. Best of Luck Daphne!
