  1. Congratulations! And Welcome to the clean side!
  2. Congratulations! Now go have fun out there!
  3. I like this. I wanted to add rivets on ab but didn't per CRL. As for your last recommendation I don't agree with lining up belt rivets and kidney coping picture that closely. Different thickness Troopers would have them way out of proportion. This is reminding me of troopers following that billgram to the mm for left side rivets only to find out armor is different brand and height and they placed in wrong spots. I tried to space mine by how far it looked coming off plastic belt in picture and did same distance off TD. No real measurements can be given with different size TK's. Just my thoughts Loving the updates to the EU!
  4. Hey Chris The blue should match the reference image the best you can. People have been doing Commanders for some years now. When I did my research in peoples build threads there was many different brands used. My first choice "Blue Angel" blue was about impossible to find. I ended up using Tamiya TS-15 blue. It's a nice deep blue. And Tamiya is perfect for plastic that flexes. Good Luck and look foward to seeing what you come up with!
  5. Heck yeah we can carry them!
  6. If he's home ypu can get a response in a day or two. If you sent it the day he leaves for work. Which is weeks at a time IIRC. You can sometimes think he isn't responding. Plus when he does get back he has to read and answer all emails, yours included. That can take a bit. Once I got him the couple back and forth chats were quick. I waited a bit. He does answer. The reward of having RT-MOD means you are a master at patience! Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  7. It was the last time I knew. Did you retry later?
  8. Congratulations! You look incredible!
  9. Congratulations! Welcome to the 501st!
  10. Great post! Same as the DeathStar, we don't ask. You don't tell
  11. Your backplate is sitting to far off your back. It looks like an Anovos back. You could use a hot water bath to help flatten the tops. And not noticed till now but it looks like your right calf has the closure going the wrong way. They should close to the inside. Yours are both going same way. Remove the coverstrip and add to outer half of calf. Getting there
  12. TK-21615 why aren't you at your post? Congratulations! Have fun out there!
  13. I say ab looks low because from side shots the top should line up and ab is down on both sides. Plus one picture the chest looks barely over it. Your thighs do look a little long. We dont have the greatest movement but you should be able to walk up and down a set of stairs safely.
  14. I don't think it matters much. As long as it looks right.
  15. Just remove the white then. Easy fix.
  16. A little late, but Congratulations! Have fun out there!
  17. And you go right ahead. Sometimes things happen. It's a bummer in this hobby when a hiccup happens. One things for sure. You have to have a lot of patience being a Star Wars fan. We're always waiting for either a piece of something or a movie!
  18. Nice overall look! Only thing I could see is from some pictures it looks like snaps on butt and right ab are white? Maybe lighting or my eyes. Fitment you look ok. I'd only recommend pulling bells in to straps and lower forearms a bit. Even space between elbow and handguards. And belt to be spot on could come up 1/2" right up against bottom button. Just cosmetic stuff. Good Luck Trooper!
  19. Wow! I've ordered with them 3 times now and never had a problem. Order in wave and received in about 6 weeks time.
  20. You did a stellar job on this armor! Well done!
  21. Welcome to the FISD Sarah! I'm a fellow New Englander and glad to see you here. I believe I saw your Welcome post on the NEG forum. While I don't have a TLJ TK many here do as well at NEG. Everyone is real helpful and you'll be Trooping before you know it. Feel free to wrangle some events when a TFA TK is going to be there and you could get a glimpse on what goes on and get a feel of how they put theirs together. Always a good time. Looking foward to Trooping with you! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  22. Love the effort so far. One thing, just be careful with that marker and the bare armor itself. I've never used one(pencil instead) and would worry about bleeding into the white plastic. Could be nothing to worry about. Just haven't seen many use a marker. Keep up the good work! Slow and steady wins the race as they say. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  23. Looking foward to it! Gotta love Indy films.
  24. Looks good for a start. A few things I noticed, Your drop boxes slid in a little. They should line up with outer edge of plastic belt. Move over and add drop of e6000 to elastic in back to hold in place. Your ab looks like its drooping down. Lifting up an inch or so will put it where it belongs. Shoulder bells could come in closer. They should be tight against shoulder strap. While we talk about straps. You need 1/4" elastic around them holding them down to back plate. They are floating a bit. A few tweeks and you'll be top notch. You should have basic approval no problem! Good Luck Jeff! You're almost there!
