  1. Yeah that left forarm is a wonky shape for sure. When I saw mine I thougt WTF! And no it wasn't Walts Trooper Factory But after assembly and some extra trimming of inside elbow scoop it actually fit ok. Holding each piece on your body is a little different then it put together. Loose the two pieces formed a oval looking mess that didn't line up. Once together it seemed to round out a bit more. Great choice in neckseal. Teresa does some top notch work! Also nice score for your wife. Looks like you both will need new wrangler/photographer. Keep up the great work! And know we're always watching. We love pictures!
  2. Hey I found you here James! I'll keep an eye on this and your Garrison work in progress. This is the place to get some great help from a whole bunch of us. Keep up the great work! And for God's sake. Put a shirt on Good Luck Future Trooper!
  3. I found in the gallery some photo's had measurements for size of stripe. Each foot is different so no real from the toe measurement could be given. I just made it look like the picture. I used bullfrog tape instead of blue tape. It stops bleeding more then blue. Plus it is friendlier to curves. Good Luck Commander!
  4. I use a harness with my TK's. It works great. It helps hold everything in place. You should see the looks I get from other TK's when I get dressed. I dont have to squeeze into my little turtle shell like others. As long as it looks original when it's on you it doesn't matter how you get there.
  5. Sounds like you're off to a good start! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  6. Look at you go Nerf Trooper!
  7. Congratulations Lars! Welcome to the Ranks!
  8. Congratulations Aaron! Hope to see your Centurion application soon.
  9. Congratulations Jen! Onward to Centurion!
  10. You're on the right track with strip. However you do it make sure it's fused across the whole seam. Not just a couple of spots. I'd skip the abs paste idea. Just butt edges up tight and that should be fine. The belt should cover seam anyway. I lucked out for mine. WTF comes fused together.
  11. Lovin the progress! Don't forget that kidney and buttplate get fused together. Looks like you removed all return edge in preparation for white U channel rubber. Good! Helmet is looking good. I like that shade of blue. Keep at it Future Commander!
  12. I believe John still has some RomFX for sale. I switched to his set up last yr. Works great and it has some built in adjustable settings. It comes with everything but batteries. The speaker is smaller then an aker and just as loud. Whatever you choose a talking TK is always better then a nodding one. Good Luck
  13. Congratulations!
  14. Congratulations
  15. I have a connection for my microphone that I have to connect when I put my helmet on. I ran a cable up under my neckseal and end hangs out next to my cheek. I have a wrangler plug it in after I put helmet on. Unplugging is easy with just taking helmet off.
  16. Congratulations! Great job on your armor! A few easy fixes and we'll see you at Centurion! Well done Trooper!
  17. I recommend to all our recruits to add soft Velcro to clips. Definitely helps in scratch reduction and can't be seen anyway.
  18. Congratulations Sven! Welcome to the Ranks!
  19. Great picture! Congratulations on your adventure!
  20. Looking good so far! You'll be Trooping before you know it!
