Fish's ANOVOS Build Thread - Aspiring for L3
Vertex replied to fishgoh0nk's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Hmm, I don't know dude. As the goal is to achieve centurion I don't think something like that would/should pass. Its a clear error that makes it screen inaccurate. I see this as being no different than had the manufacturer put on a singlepoint scope instead of a M38/32/19 scope, an omitted "D" ring or wrong screws being used on the TD. For basic it be ok, for expert maybe, although like you it would still bug me. But for centurion status I'd say a definitive no. Again this is purely my opinion so a *very* big YMMV on this. Hopefully a DO within the program will provide some guidance. -

a couple of things that jump out at me are the t-tracks seem short and the rail to which the scope is mounted is short as well. The front should extend passed the mag well into the first vent hole. If memory serves the rear of the rail mount should either be attached directly to the rear sight or if bent downwards as it seems to appear in your pics should be about 1cm or so away from the rear sight and not flushed against it. The scope is way too far back. I don't think the charging handle should be silver. I'm curious as to how the face of the counter looks like. -

Take a look here. Oddly enough there isn't one on BSN, (at least I couldn't find one) http://forum.501stspecopsdet.net/index.php?/topic/4295-shoretrooper-vendors-armor-and-weapons/

I honestly think you made out better by getting OD straps versus the BDU camo pictured.

I picked up some similar ones in OD - for what it's worth a I believe you got the correct ones. ----------------- Finally made your way to Nakano?

Rogue One Stormtrooper Back Pack part found

Have you checked out the shops in Nakano (Broadway)? There's 2 or 3 stores on the 2nd or 3rd floor. You wont find the frame but you may find the canvas pack. -

Knowing how shipping can add up I'd go with getting everything from one source - remember to contact them to ensure they include the insert. At this point the guy has received enough orders that if you tell him you're doing a SW backpack he'll know what you mean. Yep, back in the states for now - we left Japan about 3 months ago. Glad to be back but we do miss it. -

have there been any changes to the design since the last run?
-
hmmm... Well I thought the authoritative tone I used would sound convincing enough - oh well. Seriously now.... I did get from a reliable source that they are actually made from the same ingredients used in starburst candy and are gluten free to boot.

I have no way to verify this but word on FB is that they were leather on a plastic vacu-formed base.

Tracking with interest.
