  1. I think this is the most images of picatiny rails I’ve ever seen on FISD lol Outstanding.
  2. Congratulations giskard8 and Doggydoc! Your consistent work on the forums has now been officially recognise, and we thank you.
  3. Welcome to FISD Hanson (CTBD) looks lies the team are offering good advice, which is what we are here for. Please ask as many questions as you need, and do share photos of any progress. We love photos. It is also best to use an image hosting service, as data space on the forums is very limited if you directly add photos. The product of choice with many members is called IMGUR. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48799-posting-photos-using-imgur-101/
  4. Hey Matt, you bet ya. We know that there were officially between 17 and 20 Rogue One sets of armour detailed for the live actions stuff. These were duplicated out in digital copies copy and paste style, in fact they didn't hide that they pasted in several instances the same trooper next to each other. Screenshots show this in the gallery. The idea for this CRL will be to chose if you wish what parts you paint grey based on what is seen on screen, plenty of variations there, and to then create your cracking weathering and Gold elements. This will become the first CRL to have a good level of variety available to be creative with. We have a source who worked on set where we got info on the number of R1 suits modified, plus the info from Costume department on fabrics what they actually did to the armour, but no one has mentioned anything about OT armour being used. Accounting for most of the R1 costumes now, based off the numbers we were given, and the information extolled, they were complete R1 assets. They actually Dremeld those kits to create a lot of the cracking, so they are now damaged in that respect forever you could say. They were able to do that easily because of the thickness of the parts and Urethane material R1 kits are made of. Unless there is solid proof of OTTK components, the CRL should be based on R1 armour only. That is not to say if down the track we get that solid evidence, and it can be publicly shown and seen on screen, that allowances can't be factored into the CRL.
  5. Are you considering using the spray fabric glue they used on set to keep the wrapping in place? It also aided in some of the discolouration in areas where the fabric was doubled over and helped with the distressing not continually threading and becoming a mess.
  6. This still happens before census every year. If a member hasn't logged in, then they don't stay valid after the update.] as an affiliation to detachments. The only other intervention is the mandatory removal of retired members and the adjustment of their access to basic, which obviously removes them from voting, being they are no longer a full 501st member. If the legion Holocron for members has not been updated in the event a member has been re-approved after they come back from retirement or reserved, that is a matter for the member's GML to resolve. To add to this, Legion pre warn all leaders to make appropriate adjustments as the database gets locked down when the election cycle starts, for new costume approvals cannot occur until the election cycle is finished.
  7. Lol, I know exactly what you mean, same happened to me
  8. Welcome, Chris! Follow Glens suggestions for those adjustments and retake a couple of photos so we can take another look. In general looks good, now is the time for refinement so you can get approved first time. Always good to see another Aussie on our forums.
  9. I think you got it just right. Something to bear in mind is the rear mounting will vary based on how much material you trim from the halves of the thigh based on getting the right fit for an individual. Slimmer legs mean the mount is a little further back on the rear, large, and it may not get as close as this reference image. You do have the centre block aligned nicely with the cover strip as per the bottom reference image.
  10. That is pretty darn cool Brian, I think some of the above suggestions will have you taking this to the next level in a heartbeat. Great work, can't wait to see what else you have coming.
  11. Welcome aboard sir, if you haven't already, make sure you request 501st access in the thread.
  12. Welcome to FISD Austin! We are here to help in every way possible, so please ask as many questions as you need.
  13. Looking forward to your build thread Matthew. Middle-aged fear not, it is possibly our largest demographic, one of which I and several of the staff here are proud to be part of
  14. Amazing work ken!!
  15. So many options, well when you consider they actually converted 20 R1 sets of armour that's going to be a lot.
  16. We are as equally happy to have you on board, GJ Welcome to FISD!
  17. That helmet looks amazing! Looking a reference images, Enoch chest plate is or appears to be considerably wider than the standard R1 style chest. I realise these aren't scaled equally but the neck opening is noticeable as is the flare out at the shorter base of the chest
  18. Congratulations Brian!
  19. This is just awesome. Custom zombie face based off your own face. Next level brother, next level!!
  20. Great news, Jorge, we are looking forward to seeing your photos.
