1. Looks great. Is that Skygunbros version one helmet?
2. Ahh. So no more posting from my phone then. Thanks.
3. I really don't know why it won't let me post photo bucket links anymore...
4. -------------
5. I have some Tunisian style ones I modeled. You can grab the file for free here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32462-trainwrecks-3d-print-files/?fromsearch=1

I have a clean version I need to resize and I'll add it later this week if I have time.
6. Frankly I haven't been keeping up so that may be entirely correct. Either way Lucasfilm is going to have to get those TKs made somewhere...
7. So just a really quick moment of wild speculation. So we know that Lucasfilm let Anovos into there archives to get scans of the original TKs. We also know that the first Star Wars Anthology film, Rouge One, is probably going to take place right before ANH. So! Does that open the possibility that Anovos will be supplying OT TK outfits for Rouge One and that we all just possibly ordered kits derived from the new Anthology film? Just thinking out loud here...
8. I actually went back and painted over mess ups with white enamel (instead of removing paint). That's how I achieved that "textured" look.
9. The beauty of going TD is you can cover some of those painting mistakes with weathering. I repainted so many parts of my helmet that you can see the different levels of paint if you look closely. But all in all after weathering it looks great (to me at least).
10. Yeah trimming them back has been one of my ideas. I really need to experiment a little before I play too much around with the return edges. Because it's an AM kit I already had to cut out the elbow notch on one of the forearms that I'll be adding a return edge to. It also occurs to me that if I make the joint a wedge shape with a reinforcing strip inside and covered by the outside strip I might be able to lessen the angle of the point and just heat it up and flatten it out. It has occurred to me that I might need to order new biceps so I guess if I mess up too much that will be my option. just thought I'd ask around before I go to headlong into this. Thanks!
11. So occasionally I need to remind myself why I'm called TrainWreck. This would be one of those moments. So I trimmed my biceps and found afterward that three of the four joints at the bottom seem to come to a point like this: You can see it here as well: So I have my own ideas on how to solve the problem but thought I'd ask you O great internet brain first. Any novel solutions to this?
12. Actually it's jumbled. The last line was how he starts that part of the speech. Look at about 1:35 in the video. https://youtu.be/MDYX_PgorRY
13. Wasn't that Luke's speech to Leia in ROTJ? If not it's really close.
