  1. Looks amazing what you have there already. If that's the finished product, the only thing really bringing it down is the front sight infill. Any way that can be overcome?
  2. Just post them up, so then others can benefit in your questions/answers too
  3. MTK for me. Great service is a big telling factor too. I've had great service from MTK (new armour), AP and ATA (parts). All I hear is bad with Anovos
  4. There's generally no allowance for weathering in any level for TK's. You'd be lucky to get approved, let alone L2 or L3. It does happen. We often get Disney requests for official events. They need to be certain characters (normally TKs, maybe a Vader) and of certain heights/weights. I guess trying to get similarly sized characters that will look better grouped together. These are also paid appearances too.
  5. Depends on your neck seal as well. Have you bought that yet? Mine goes UNDER my undersuit.
  6. Having bought many things from Trooperbay, I'm sure quality is top notch. I'm not going to go through every piece of strapping but it looks pretty comprehensive. Personally I don't like the metal wire fixing and I ditched the bra-snap calf closures after my first troop, but that is personal preference. And I'm sure if you sourced all the parts yourself it would cost a fraction of that, but that's why he is doing the hard yards for you, are charging you for it. If you're happy with the shin closures/wire & elastic armour joining system and the price - go for it! You'll be happy.
  7. Have you checked the CRL Ken? There's nothing in there suggesting it needs to be one piece. There are several approved Centurions already with separate Ab/Cod
  8. It's just a reference page, presumably set up by Mike Gordon of the Florida Garrison. There's no option to buy, just links to various websites. Maybe he set up for his own Garrisons info.
  9. Ummm, it has a pop rivet as a front sight LOL. There's already a few threads here on FISD showing it's details, or lack thereof.
  10. Ooh, crinkle finish on the scope. Wow. No manual, but I pulled my M77C apart which should be basically the same http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29089-dvh-pipe-build-with-extras/page-8 I got my inspiration and bravery from Felice. He had a nice thread. Maybe Usaeatt2 does too from memory... Bulldog44 might have too recently.
  11. Plenty of builds over on the Armoured Cavalry site and Facebook pages
  12. ^^ What he said
  13. I've just printed one from CGTrader. Looks like I got ripped off, it cost me $4.90! Looks to be the same file. Came out great, but I don't know enough about them to know the finer details.
  14. You need to post your pictures the right way up next time, LOL! You don't need a blaster for approval, so you're ok for now. That blaster looks fine for Centurion, although I can't see the charging handle. Sly has picked people up for that before. However, if you're going all the way to centurion, some weathering to make the blaster look more realistic wouldn't go astray.
  15. Your link doesn't work. On his site, I only see the Hasbro conversion and the ESB one. Not a "Stunt version" as per your title. The two that I can see don't show any crystal clear photos to make a real decision, other than they seem way overpriced. A AUD$30- Hasbo for AUD$222?!?! And AUD$357- for the other one seems outta there too. The basic shape is there, but I'd be wanting to see more/clearer pics before making a decision.
  16. Too thick, yes. Acceptable, yes. As Mathias said, no one is going to tell you to replace it, so if you're happy with it, then stick with it. By comparison, here's a couple of shots with a 3mm and a 1.6mm rail. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/page-2#entry414706
  17. Looks great Tino. Did you know your power cylinders fell off, on the one on the right?
  18. Yep. Found and joined the group earlier today. Saw your posts there... Cheers. Build is coming along nicely. Great job
  19. Very nice. Have I missed where the blaster files came from? Who is this "Sean"? Edit: Found him!
  20. Search for gmrhodes13's build for a fancy build, or my build (in my signature) for a very basic build. It's my weapon of choice for trooping due to it's light weight and durability.
  21. There's quite a few on ebay right now. Just searched "Hasbro stormtrooper blaster".
  22. Ah bugger. That's no good. I only had enough to do half my hooks. Ended up just using thin foam.
  23. Looking good Tino. I just completed my blaster rack yesterday (took me about 1 hour), but I might borrow that heat shrink tubing idea. Thanks
  24. Mate, you've mentioned 4 or 5 times how hard the Sydney site is or there's no activity, or nothing happening.... I've never heard of anyone else having issues. Have you registered yet? Have you signed on? Have you introduced yourself? I haven't seen you there. Sorry, but you won't get any help if you don't ask. What or who are you not getting any responses about? BTW; MTK armour also does either/or. Just ask him. Super reasonably priced too.
