  1. Excellent job!!
  2. Line up the forearms at the wrists....you don't want to cut off the excess on the wrists end except the return edges... After you get the cover strips on, it won't look so weird and confusing.
  3. The velcro / hooks is a preference....The accurate way is hooks but some go for velcro. I did velcro cause it was easier Here's a pic for the shims, works for thighs and shins. Sorry couldn't find an image with the hooks but it works the same and you can check out trooperbay's how-to video's on you-tube as he does the hooks.
  4. The wrist accuracy is no lip, aka return edges. If your building towards EIB and centurion then yeah, remove the return edges. I didn't cut down the higher edge by the elbow but did sand down the sharp corner. The shims will help with making them look nice. Take a look at EIB and centurion builds marked with AP in the titles and you can see what other troopers have done!
  5. Looking really good!
  6. I read in another thread that there are some server issues going on....
  7. Looking pretty good....obviously a tight fit is the best but a tiny bit of a gap is the norm as you would see in movie still shots....
  8. Thanks Jason...I never noticed drop boxes being that slim. Going to wait to see what Gazmosis says as well. Appreciate it!!
  9. Thanks...I do have a strap connecting the forearm. Maybe I'll try a second one when I get Centurion taken care of....
  10. Looking good....I agree with the e6000 as a lot of troopers will. It'll make it a ton easier when you have to make adjustments as you go along! Looks like you can drop a black stripe on the back of the helmet and space them out a little bit more. Best of luck
  11. Yup, thanks Andrew! Pic added... Thanks everyone!!
  12. Hey Nikos, welcome to the FISD!
  13. Another great newsletter...Congrats Tim on being Trooper of the Month and bucket off to the Southern California Garrison for Troop of the Month!

  15. Looking good...maybe it's just me but can you give the vocoder a little rounder edge on the top left and right sides? Time for me to go search for that vader poster lol
  16. Best of luck Ryan....measure twice, cut less than you think you need to and work your way to the proper fitting. Most of all, have fun. Oh and keep the pics coming lol!
  17. Nice paint job so far. You can paint the back bump on the ear black...

  19. Congrats Ron!! Welcome to the EI!
  20. The TK's sad for his alter ego cause he's stuck with the finances. Lol I'm no expert on helmets but centering looks good!
  21. Bucket looks great! Never seen them before but cool looking kokeshi dolls and great idea to have them match your clothing. Always learning about something new here lol. Congrats and many happy years to you and your fiancé!!
  22. From what I have seen and read, an enamel paint works best.
  23. Looking good so far. I saw you mention zap a gap....even when you think you have something correct, an adjustment may still be needed later on down the road so something like e6000 is recommended....forgive me if you already know that. Best of luck in your build. Will continue to watch.
