  1. Yep, I can confirm a lot of love went into this suit. The sum of all these improvements will help to get the higher levels and you deserve it. Note to FISD staff: could someone please tell this overachiever we do not have level 4? Looking forward to our next meeting, Luca. I then might have something to hand over to you...
  2. Any plans to run a build thread for that as well? If so, please make sure to link it here, so we don't miss it. Would love to see this coming to life.
  3. Sounds great. Not sure if you have seen this, but although being designed for E-11, it might contain some ideas to get inspiration from. Good luck for your blaster rack.
  4. Dang. Being an old-school resin blaster builder, I always stayed away from 3D-prints. Seems like time has come to re-think this point of view... I really like this blaster.
  5. Wow, Dave. Congrats on completing this beautiful blaster. Looking at the surface makes it hard to believe this is a 3D printed kit. Absolutely outstanding. Also seeing the Blast-FX installed to a DLT-19 takes this to another level. Not to mention your paint-jobs. It paid off to go that deep into multi-layer paint and research for weathering. An absolute piece of art. Take good care of it and have a lot of fun when trooping with it.
  6. Hello Rob and welcome to the FISD. I enjoyed reading your great backstory.
  7. Hello Marcel, congrats on your approval and welcome to the FISD. Looking forward to meeting you on a troop this year.
  8. Wow! Outstanding job, Joseph. Looking at your reference photos below, I just noticed the counters being parallel to the folding stock, not the receiver tube. Hadn't seen this before so all my builds and the FISD E-11 Blaster Reference show the parallel installation. How do we treat this? Leave it up to everybody individually? Seems to be the same issue with the placement of the power cylinders on top of the magazine well: parallel to the receiver tube or parallel to the angled end of the magazine well? What do you think?
  9. You will need both colors here. See photo below for details. Trigger, trigger guard and outer housing of the fire control assembly are black, while the interior is aluminum or metal color. The grip is gloss black.
  10. Yes, these are fine for installation in the E-11 scopes and I had also used them in the Completion Sets. Like @justjoseph63 already pointed out, you will find them in 2 different colors (at least for the big lens). Just be aware: the red/orange lens really looks red/orange but the blue lens simply is transparent when having it in hands. That was at least my experience and I ordered loads of these over the last years...
  11. Hey Adam, congratulations for getting this blaster done. It turned out really good. Great photos taken and nice to see an E-11 with those recent ANH greeblies. You heard the crowd: we are ready for your next one.
  12. Wow! What an update, Adam. Everything you did makes this blaster better.
  13. Hi Jamie and welcome back.
  14. Maybe that helps. And here is an idea, how you can easily build a front sight pin, that will most likely never break.
  15. Keeping fingers crossed, Steve. I hope this works...
  16. What a beauty, Joseph. Looks very good.
  17. Very good progress, Adam. Glad to see it worked and you are happy with the result. Sorry for being late with that tip, but spade drill bits are ideal for hollowing resin scopes because these create 'flakes' instead of fine dust and do the job pretty fast. Maybe it still helps future builders... Can't wait for your next update.
  18. Ah, wasn't aware that this is because of security reasons. Thanks for mentioning, Glen.
  19. Since the last site upgrade it is no longer possible to login by entering the user names. We instead have to type the full email addresses. Would it be possible to get this working again with email AND/OR user names?
  20. Welcome Timo. Enjoy being a Stormtrooper.

  22. Hi Chris. Welcome to the FISD. Let us know, if you have any specific questions after checking Glen's link.
  23. Hi Brian and welcome to the FISD. Your weight can vary with you still fitting into the armor. The cover strips on legs and arms can be made wider for this. However, if loosing weight is your aim, I would suggest to wait with building until your goal is reached. You could use the meantime to study this forum, order tools for the build, or you could tackle the blaster build during your weight loss. Enjoy your Stormtrooper journey.
  24. Wow, smoke effects are a crazy cool mod. Maybe not for every single blaster shot fired, but definitely for the overheat feature (in case that is doable at all).
