  1. Thankx for all the suggestions, Ron. There might be a bit of work to be done. let's wait what the verdict will be. I will definitly work on it later on. As for the small elastics on the shoulder...easy enough fixed The other things, need a bit of tool time!
  2. my battery pack is connected with rivets. my sniper plate glued on.
  3. Tnx Jen. I know about the high shin. I have used my initial 501st approval pictures. In the mean time, I have made an elastic strap on the inside of both shins, which go under my heel (before I put my boots on). The straps are velcro'd to my shin armor, so I can loosen/tighten them as needed.
  4. I have been messing about with the picture size, in order to make them small enough (bit-wise) for posting, while still showing enough detail. If you need larger pictures, please feel free to request them.

  7. I do not think that there is even a person underneath Vaders outfit... It looks like a dummy. Where are the arms? The legs are super short compared to it's torso (yes...'it' is an 'it) So this is the 'Darth Dummy and the Storm Stupid' act...
  8. Also, are you thinking of making straphooks for your biceps? you can find a great tutorial here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/37-howto-create-a-bicep-strap-hook/ you can see a hook on the right biceps in the below picture. My armor was approved half a year ago, and I am still tinkering and adjusting on a weekly basis. There are always things you can or need to improve. Once you start trooping, you will find out the hard way, where the unconfortable parts are. But you are almost there! Keep up the good work. Good to see a beefed up Stormtrooper as opposed to my skinny @$$!
  9. one more piece of advice from a, not that experienced, Trooper: Is your Belt fixed to your front Abb plate? As it is right now, it seems to be a bit low. see how mine is placed:
  10. Hi there. first time poster here. I have cut my lower legs to match my (equaly) skinny ankles. they too just barely fit around my boots. I assumed it was a perfect fit. at least that was when I was standing still. During my first proper troop, I noticed (while walking) that the lower leg parts slided upwards. And during walking, they did not slide over my boots automatically (because of the tight fit.) As a consequence, I have had some nasty plastic cuts behind my knees, where the lower leg and the upper leg came together. the bottom gap of the lower legs should be as big as possible, while still being aesthetic and in proportion.
