Thanks for the comparison Morten I wonder if jedirobe is aware of all the comments and comparisons and have even made an effort to re-sculpt their molds.

I do this along with the strapping to keep the forearms, biceps and shoulder bells as "one whole piece" XD Just some simple gaffa tape. I saw someone do this on one of my troops. \ For a better way to do this though, I'd recommend SImpixel's thread on crafting a bicep strap hook with just scrap pastic. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/37-howto-create-a-bicep-strap-hook/

If it's a really big issue and if this was a manufacturer fault as you have mentioned, then bring it up to the manufacturer. Personal trooping and evidence suggests that the original strapping works fine for trooping. So let the manufacturer know about it, cross fingers and hope you could get another one!

I love the idea of lounging with a pipe! But I'd go for imperial bathrobe....with my strapping sitting might hurt my armour

ABS paste has done wonders for me. Might as well call it wonder-paste. I'm not sure how effective ABS paste would be on the numerous "indents or divots" though. It tends to give a rough feel you'll have to sand it down after the past has dried (well most of the time not always). What I have used ABS paste for so far is sealing holes or reinforcing cracks.
