  1. Little Debbie Snack Cakes....

  2. Looking excellent! And nice blaster. You rarely see an RS blaster. It's heavier than most blaster but it has a good weight to it. All the best for your application buddy
  3. What a great way to celebrate Star Wars weekend! I'm really happy the armour fit is working out for you It fits you perfectly (like the armour was molded to your body). Looks like all the hard work paid off
  4. Nice! Knew you'd make it. Well done and welcome to the ranks trooper!
  5. I totally dig the animated look. Sure I'm a purist and my favourite will always be the ANH look but I was always fond of cartoon-ized versions. Look at my pixel stormie profile pic! D:
  6. Could you post a picture of just the shoulder bells? If it doesn't fit snug maybe there might be return edges that need to be trimmed. Don't do any cutting yet and let's take a closer look at the shoulder bells first
  7. Congrats buddy! See you at Legoland Centurion! Just 3 more days!
  8. That's because of the decision to follow what's on screen. So even if a DLT-19 could theoretically be used during the ESB period, the fact that it was never on screen means you can't get cleared for EIB/Cent with the DLT. At least that's what I think
  9. Looks good buddy. Hope to see you at Legoland as Centurion!
  10. I also had those questions but didn't find the right links and took some time finding out. Minuteman has got it right. starwarshelmets.com is a good place to start. ESB recycled ANH armour with a few changes and ROTJ had new armour and constructions methods. Once you get the hang of the differences between the different film armou types, they stand out so much
  11. Yeah mine's an RS PVC flexible and more mistake friendly. A great start for first time builders/non-DIY people
  12. In the 501st though, in order to be cleared you'd need to have an armour that fits either from the movies or from the Expanded Universe. In other words in needs to be canon. So of you're looking for coloured and to join the 501st then you'll have to choose the types you see already in the 501st CRL (Costume Reference Library) http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRL if it's not canon then you can't troop in 501st events. And you'd also need a clear-able costume to join the 501st. But if you're looking to do a camo or any paint job sort don't hesitate to post pics! I'd like to see them
  13. I am 4 years late Karin but my perception of Austria? GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!
  14. Try E6000 first. It should work as most just use E6000 to assemble to suit. In regards to your outer right thigh, you don't have to worry about the outer side sticking out. Here are some examples from the RS suit, the cover strips somewhat covers it too. Of course stick to the cover strips and don't use rivets on it (unless you want to exactly replicate this particular RS suit )
  15. Don't switch the shins. Your trimmed plate looks similar to mine: I also had problem trying to fit it. It's a pretty common thing. I used hard plastic glue (on the sides and in the middle where it touches the top of the shin) and clamps on the side. Left the clamps there for quite a while. Never came out since
  16. CFO (ID: sskunky) on the forums here does hovi mic tips Name is Mark
  17. No need to heat bend the belt. Not unless you're finding it really hard to flex it around your waist. I built my TK without any prior DIY experience too. It's a tough hill to climb but very rewarding
  18. ^^^^ couldn't agree more! ANd your forearms and biceps looks well trimmed. Now you'll just need to see how it feels on arms when you flex them. As you're carrying your blaster most of the time your arms are flexed most of the time. So it's best that they're at their most comfortable stage when flexed
