  1. If Liz Moore sculpted the TK helmet as we know it who sculpted the Hero faceplate? As we know the Hero faceplate is a little different from the Stunt. Never looked too much into the Hero helmets so don't mind me if this question is a silly one
  2. I've seen plenty of Troopermasters and RS in the UKG and all look fantastic. You're in good hands Darren. I'm also sorry for your loss and yes it's very satisfying to help out in charities. Good luck trooper
  3. Hi there Paul! great to see you here
  4. Ah thanks for pointing that out Ian! Didn't read it properly my bad
  5. Level 2 states: "Ear bars shall have four bumps only, not three" Of which I find to be conflicting with the level 3 which mentioned only 2-3 bumps. So to be safe I'd stick with the screen shots. which is 2-3 rank bars (or bumps)
  6. Hey Adam, glad the NL inspired you to go EIB. We are after all aiming to reach 700 EIBs by this year! I have no idea why you're nervous at all. Your armour looks great! Easy pass to EIB and should even take you to Centurion with little effort. One thing I noticed was the ranking stripes on your helmet ears. It appears to be ANH style. Seen in the screenshots below they have at least 3 stipes: For level three certification (if applicable): MRCE and/or EFX PCR helmets are not allowed. ANHv2 helmets are not allowed. Ear bars shall have only two to three bumps painted in black (rank stripes). <--- also stated in CRL Neck trim shall be of an s-type profile rather than a u-type profile.
  7. This isn't a criticism but tips of moving above and beyond basic level. To me the only thing that stands out are the holster positions on the belt. Seen in the picture above, the rivet positions for the holsters are towards the lower half of the belt. You might also want to shave of the sides of your belt closer to the rivet covers as seen in the picture below: Other than that you look good
  8. And to answer your earlier question, "clamshell" is the type of handguards used my the snowies and ESB Stormtroopers.
  9. I don't think you place rivets and snaps on a blaster...are you talking about armour strapping?
  10. My buttplate bottom area (where it connects to the crotch) has almost no return edge so as to not cause discomfort when walking. Likewise on the crotch area of the ab plate I trimmed the return edges so as to not cause discomfort in the groin area when trooping. If you're going for the original bracket strapping method, leave a bit of return edges on the chest, back and kidney plates for the bars and bolts.
  11. If you are asking about trimming the return edges of the screen used kits the isn't one set length in mm. They were trimmed according to the size of the wearer. One good rule of thumb is to make sure you have 1 finger space all around where your limbs are concerned. When applying for Centurion, make the the return edge of the forearms (where the wrists are) have no return edges. Best is to post pictures on your fitting so we can see how much you'd need to trim. I suggest you do that first before making a mistake you can't undo
  12. Wow. Now you made that into a A-grade kit. Well done!
  13. ^^ Yes what about to mention to extend the frowns too. About time Diana! haha! You look great so it should be an easy pass. All the best
  14. Congrats buddy. Very, very we'll deserved what with all the mods and perseverance! Welcome to the ranks trooper
  15. Another wave of awesome improvements! Quick, give him his Centurion badge!
  16. originalstormtrooper.com sells approve-able kits but at too high a cost. On top of that you'll need to mod and make adjustments, meaning risking damaging something you paid so much for. Better stick with doopys like what the rest said at a lower cost but with much better accuracy and quality
  17. Great improvements! And great build too Some ABS paste solves a lot of problems . I had to reposition my side rivets too and filled the holes with ABS paste. They might call you out on the cover strips on the back of your shins as the cover strips overlap the ridges: Hopefully it's not an issue but even if it is, it's a simple mod But these are just suggestions and the DL has the final say. So don't make any final changes until the DL says so! All the best with your application!
  18. Now that you mentioned it, something does feel different.
