  1. Don't act like a Stormtrooper...BE a Stormtrooper!

  2. I love the new animated helmet. They took whatever stood out of a TK and emplhasized it even more. Kinda like a caricature. For an Animated series, I think it's really good for what it is.
  3. Almost missed the fact that you added shims, you did well to meld the shims with your armour! All the best in your application
  4. Speaking of aprons and kitchens, my mate who's a sandy used his pauldron as a bib while frying his meals! Congratulations on bring trooper of the month. It was well deserved
  5. Glad to see you already applying for EIB so quickly Ron . You look great
  6. Congratulations Hello Luke, you're taking your first step into a larger world.
  7. Yes. I scream in my lid like an idiot and after that they still can't hear me! So yes I upgraded to an Aker and works wonders.
  8. Stunning Since Centurion has very high standards of accuracy they might call you out on your TD screws. The right screws to use are these: All the best in your application.
  9. Yeah that's what my mates do. Balaclava with the neck seal. Makes it look loads better plus, it keeps the mic in place without using tape! And anyways Tim, what a journey! You look great and I'm sure approval won't be an issue. Hope to see you in service soon trooper! P.S. don't forget to apply EIB and Cent as soon as you can! You deserve it
  10. Nice work Don't forget to add the straps to keep them pieces all in place
  11. Those look about right. If you find it too spacey you can always add foam. Progressing well
  12. I love how your "AAAHHH" went of the screen. Kinda gave me an idea of how happy you were. You're off to a good start if you already haven't started panicking as I did when I first saw my pieces! You'll need a curved scissors and lots of E6000 glue to get started Also don't forget an Xacto blade or Stanley blade. Rivet gun should you use pop rivets. I used a hammer and thin blunt object to hammer my cap rivets in. I started with the helmet first but I've come to regret that decision as I was new to this and had trouble trimming the ears. I became better a trimming after the completing the rest of the armour.
  13. Wawawewah. Very nice, I like! As Jason mentioned, the dropboxes look a little tight but I don't think you'll need to change it. Better closer to the belt and tight than loosely hanging down. Your holster is quite near the thermal detonator too. I wouldn't make any changes yet as the diagram above was only meant to serve as a guideline rather than a hard and fast rule. These are two screenshots that show the variances of holster placements. First being very near the TD (safe to assume a good few centimetres away from the edge of the belt...unless the the straps of the holsters were placed far apart maybe??) And the second pretty close to the belt edge.
  14. A friend of mine uses the anti-fog wax stick for his lenses. I haven't tried them on glasses yet but they should work as he tried it on his bathroom mirror and it works.
  15. Love this guy. Hope he has a helmeted version as I'd love to get his armour and apparel as my next costume! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zstnZrz_3M (anybody know how to embed videos in posts? I've seen it done before but can't find the option to)
  16. RS blaster (ESB) is cast of a Pugman blaster that they own. I think it was used in the promo shots?
  17. Have you put the rubber trim around it yet? Once you fit the rubber trim in it probably won't bite your neck. Don't forget to get the S-Trim style for the rubber trim
  18. About time Maxim! haha nicely done! Easy pass mate
  19. Or if you're too lazy to cut, I've seen some people use hot glue gun on the tips to round the ends do the screws. But doing that will make it difficult to remove the screw later. So maybe use a shorter screw; simplest way
