  1. One comment would be to shorten the gap between your forearms and biceps. I found that if you set the elastic to where they are almost touching at the ends, it fits well. Geaux Saints has a good post with how the elastic is done that I used as a reference
  2. A quick update. Sorry for the low res phone pics. I was just excited to share. I'll post some proper pics soon to get better feedback. Things left to do: Attach and paint ab buttons Attach thigh ammo belt Attach sniper plate Elastic on the bridges Build Helmet Lots of little adjustments to do, but it feels good to see it starting to come together...
  3. Notches on the kidney sides should be at the bottom
  4. Great, thanks. : ) Oh and as for attaching the ammo belt to the canvas, how useful is using Chicago screws instead of rivets? How often or likely is it the ammo part would be taken off? Repairs, cleaning? Other?
  5. In looking at various posts images etc, I've noticed that some have drop boxes fastened with two rivets and some have it with one. What are the advantages of either? Is it relative to how it fits on you and one hangs better depending on your size and build?
  6. That happens to me periodically too. One day it's fine the next I get no results no matter what I put in. That happens both when I use it through a browser and through the phone app.
  7. Yea it did feel tight along the back. I was wondering about how much space is good between the thighs and the torso. It felt good on front along the top and at the knees, but the back was clashing. Lowering them a little sounds good. It was awkward to walk heh. My wife said I looked like a constipated trooper. O.o
  8. Crazy luck. Emailed today from my other account looks like I'm getting a pair! Going fast it sounds..
  9. I got a response when I first asked about getting on the list. Then checked in every few weeks or so but didn't get a response. I figured there was either no update or they were busy. I've been checking my spam but otherwise was just being patient especially once they posted about their supply issues. I didn't want to bug them cause I figured I would hear if anything was available. Then when I read someone gets a pair from just emailing them its kind of frustrating. I've sent a message from another email account to see if they just have not been getting my other emails. I know that happens so its just one of those unintentional things.. Still frustrating though. On the brighter side, I'll have more screen accurate boots by painting them myself.. Heh.
  10. :/ kinds sux I've been emailing for weeks about a size 11 with no response.
  11. I've been able to make some progress on my build. Did a quick test fit for the torso and thighs today. The biceps and forearms do not have the strapping yet, but just slipped them on. I'll post better pics later in the week with specifics for feedback on edges, details etc.
  12. Cowboys don't wear jodhpurs lol... Jk My daughter was taking some English riding lessons and while riding gear is available, the selections are limited. Hmm how about white reptile skin boots with imperial cog branded laser spurs.
  13. I have these on order and will share pics once I get them to see what others think -----------
  14. Yikes at 180 bucks, the ones I posted in the other thread are more affordable even when you factor in shipping from the UK. Boots 28gbp Shipping 21gbp Total 49gbp= 73.58
  15. I've ordered a pair of these: ---------- I emailed the retailer to ask if there were any logos, brands or marking on the outside. They replied that there aren't. I'll post pics when I get them to see how good of an option they are for TK. Hopefully it will do the job. It seems so.
  16. The 'twinkies and the doughnuts' do sort of spell out 'O2' 'O II' (Roman numeral 2)
  17. Not sure how it is for AP armor, but RS armor aligns similar to your second and third image where the top edge of the bottom ridge detail align. This results in an offset at the top of the thighs like what is in your image.
  18. Keep the return edge at the back. About 4-5 mm is good.
  19. Oh those look good. Thx.
  20. Love the citations! Great first troop. Thx for sharing
  21. Yea, I have a feeling even as small as it is, obscuring the logo wouldn't be possible. I found these: http://www.brogini.com/product_detail.cfm?id=JB Nothing in the US though..
  22. How about these? Provided the sole is painted black too..---------- Nevermind.. Same issue as the camper with the tops being too low... I'll keep searching
