  1. If not, you will need to submit an application to the 501st legion to your local garrison. Visit their forums for info. If you do have a legion ID, then you will need to submit for EIB first. Then Centurion after. There are instructions for submission in the forum threads
  2. Do you have a legion ID?
  3. Awards are given to individuals and not the armor itself. A big part of it is based on how it fits you. You will need to submit a request for yourself.
  4. Feels like too much on the lower part that goes around the bulge.. Might want to cut less and test fit before cutting that much.
  5. Happy Birthday Vern!
  6. Could be the residue of a release agent in the forming process. Have you tried washing the inside of the lid with a mild dish soap?
  7. Great troop, thanks for sharing. Nice backdrop BTW.
  8. It's those brown bags on your door step you want to avoid. Especially if they are on fire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  9. Good Luck on your build. I took a little more than 4months for mine. Savor it. Before you know it you will be finished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

  11. I use a Phillips screwdriver. I take the point of it and set it between the split arms of the rivet. I hammer the end of the screw driver until the point is in the groove of the rivet. I then simply continue to hammer the arms of the rivet until the bend flat against the washers. If you use the UKG method of adding snaps, then you will need to cut the arms down so they fit into the snap. Also, I place a piece of wood beneath the rivet so as to not create a mark on the head. The wood is firm enough yet doesn't leave a mark. Just hammer straight down from the back and it should work well. If you let the rivet twist while hammering you may end up with one arm bending more than the other. No hard to avoid, just be mindful of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

  13. Overall good. If you decide to apply for EIB or Centurion, a suggestion to replace the ears when the NE maker has their replacements ready. Also, the tube stripes look a bit too long. Good luck on your approval. And congrats on finishing your build.
  14. 24 hrs for E6k to cure and set. For more forceful connections, leaving it for 48hrs helps.
  15. One thing that helps me with the knee plate is I took a piece of 1" foam and place it behind the top of the shin. I didn't even glue it in. After I put on the shin, I just shove it down in the top and its enough to keep the sniper plate from catching on my thigh.
  16. Hi, per your images, aligning the elbow end looks like it will give you the best look. When I built my RS I thought I aligned the wrist, but I must have aligned the elbow. It's amazing how you begin to forget little details even when you take lots of photo's and notes. It's kind of like being a first time parent, there is a lot you forget about when they were an infant once you've gotten through it haha.
  17. Much better on the biceps. As for the forearms the pieces will align better once you trim the side edges that will butt together under the coverstrips. Best to start with the seam that is most visible and faces toward the front. Cut the sides to about 7-8mm from where there is a fold in the plastic. This will allow for a 15mm coverstrip to be glued over when those edges are butted together. As an aside, you can glue an inner strip to make the connection more durable. Cut this front seam first, then tape the halves together by aligning the wrist end of the pieces. You will probably still have a big offset at the elbow, but that will be reduced when you cut the edges of the back seam. Test fit the forearm and let the back edges overlap until you have a slim fit to your arm. This is somewhat of a comfort decision. Visually. You don't want too much space inside, but it doesn't need to be super tight. You aren't C-3PO. A finger or two width around seems to be the norm. Others chime in if you have better suggestions.
  18. Returns on the biceps look a bit thick. The hooks look like the right size.
