  2. Talking with a friend today I came up with an idea and I wonder if it could work. If I "reconnect" my kidney/butt plate (the same way I did with my cod) and make a lower cut, would this work? Thanks, Eric Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk

  7. The belt is held in place with Chicago Screws on each side. I know I know lolll, I simply used the hole that were used for the plastic belt. Should I bring it up to the red line or the blue line? As for the ABS paste, I will make some with the old belt that I have. Thank you for your help. Eric
  8. Hi Troy, here are some pictures . Thanks for your help, Eric ----------
  9. Hello Troops, So I did my second application to get into the 501st Legion and I still have more work to do on my armor. Some tweaks I can fix without any problems, as I have already started. But, my major problem is my belt being too low. It is suppose to arrive over the butt plate, but, my armor is used and when my friend had cut the butt/kidney plate, he had made the cut to be hidden by the belt. So that screws me a bit. How can I fix that? Here are my application pictures and what I was told to fix by the GML; -remove black straps connecting the chest & backplates, under the arms. Connecting the chest to the ab & the back to the kidney on the inside should be sufficient to secure those pieces. DONE - thighs seem to jam into shins and you may want these raised up a bit WORKING ON IT AS I'M TYPING THIS - the whole Ab/Kidney/Cod/Butt/Belt area is hanging too low. Belt should be above butt plate. It probably just needs to be a bit tighter. I can do some of it, but, my belt butt issue is my major problem. (I could have smiled loll) Thanks for your help, Eric
  10. So I decided to have fun with my goddaughter. But, I think I ended up with the short end of the straw.
  11. I used some E-6000 and HIPS. Seem to be doing the job Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk
  12. And that's the end results. (I know it's dirty, but, I just received my Novus today, so I'm cleaning it now lol)
  13. I've notice that when I put my armor on , my cod piece has a tendency of going towards the rear because of my webbing going from my cod piece to my butt piece. I tried using a longer elastic, but, it's still looks worst.

  15. Hello Troops, When I purchase my armor from my friend, he had cut the cod piece from the ab plate. Today I decided to glue them back together. I used a piece of HIPS and E-6000 to glue them back. My question is very simple; What is the success rate of this modification? Anybody had problems with the pieces un-glueing? Thanks, Eric
  16. I'm a "husky" guy too. Here are some pictures I took. Sorry for the bad quality, I did not feel like taking my camera out, so I used my cell lol. Here is a picture of my shim on my tight And these are pictures of my side shims. I glued them on with E-6000. I use snaps to hold them in place on the ab plate. Ignore the velcro that you see, it's there for method that I tried that did not work.
