  1. thanks Paul, this is where I got the trim from... http://www.customautotrim.com/products/moldings/door.htm
  2. Some more pics of my ROTJ in action As you can see in these recent pics :vader1: ...I have added the correct hand plates, (which are quite comfortable I might add)...NOW I still need to place the correct belt face plate with not as many rivets, the more correct cod piece, and gafer tape on the shoulder straps as per originals <_< then I need to switch out my ear pieces from my other AP helmet then I should be set for Mark IV aproval
  3. bed and breakfast you mean BAR and grill
  4. yeah, this sounds interesting, I would like to see the pics also
  5. Great lookin Helmet! you know you could trim about a half inch off the bottom like I did with my AP, to have a bigger hole for your head
  6. I guess we just have to remember that not all the individuals on this forum are in the 501st...they don't all don armor in public
  7. Also, the other fun thing about putting your own set of armor together, its the fact that it is YOUR armor and YOURS alone...no other armor will fit you like the set you assembled yourself!
  8. Pics of my ROTJ helmet A pic of the ear piece before taking out the screws and filling in the holes
  9. ROTJ Helmet's http://web.ukonline.co.uk/bingo275/realstormpropsROTJ.htm Me in my ROTJ

  11. thats a pretty cool observation nicely written
  12. Yeah, there are ALOT of questions that you have to answer when purchasing armor...like what is the make of this armor? what is your body build? how tall are you? what was the build for the guy selling this armor? I know you are in a hurry to buy some white armor, but if you take the faster route you could be paying for it later...you say you are not savy with prop building, then what are you going to do if you have to mod this armor to fit you? You most likely are not going to get a made to fit set of armor, we all have different sized forearms, legs, shoulders, mid-section, and heads...I am just trying to get you thinking about all these items before you shell out that much money for something that may not be right for you in the long run...
  13. The only time I ever polished my armor was with TK 2105 last Fall before my first LFL event...Since then, knowing what I know now...I haven't cleaned or polished my armor, to me...it gives it a "used" screen accurate look
  14. no problem, i just wanted to throw another option out there for you all
  15. Yeah Ed, I don't think LFL would send an MR into space <_<
  16. Now. I'm guessing that the helmet from Germany is an MFX right?
