  1. However, even if it's not a perfect match for a Han's helmet replica, it's still an absolutely gorgeous hero lid. And btw, i too have no padding at all on top of my helmet
  2. I agree, the tube stripes feel to thick. The top screws on the ears are also set very low and overlap the painting. And the brow could be cut shorter, Han's one ends before the end of the traps (at least on the right side):
  3. Thanks for sharing Aaron. I've come across this supplier and his T-Tracks by chance before, but it slipped out of my mind and i wasn't able to find him back. It's now corrected thanks to you
  4. Actually i don't understand why you bother sanding the bottom of the front sight in a rounded shape to fit the pipe instead of making the dovetail notch into the pipe, like on an actual Sterling: To me, it seems easier but also more accurate... I understand the horizontal part of the cut could be tricky if you only have a dremel though.
  5. Very nice fit on your armor, congrats! Howover, do you really want to use this action shot?!? I mean, look at your crotch... . Too bad, the picture is nice though. About your armor, i really think you should change your gloves, they look... worn! Also, try to hide better the logo at your neck on your undersuit, unstitch it if possible, or perhaps use black tape over it... And i would correct the ear rank bars painted on your helmet. No ANH helmets are known to have 2 bumps painted on each side at all, it should be only one by ear. Other than that i think you will pass EIB
  6. Great work recreating these parts! The folding stock is really impressive but i would level some more the offset you have between the pipe and the cube section: (Not the best picture there is, but i didn't find a better one) Keep on the excellent work, and don't forget to finish your armor too
  7. An other thread had been started about this airsoft few days ago: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28880-sterling-sub-machine-gun-from-hobbyking/ Everything is a little off on this blaster, so i still prefer the doopy, but it's a very cool alternative.
  8. I think you should finish to break that split you have around the ejector area, and then fill it with epoxy as i can see you have some on your workbench Other than that, that's a very neat job you've done drilling those holes!
  9. Looking nice. Congrats trooper! I would just trim down the right/hand ear on your helmet as it seems very thick.
  10. This one's epic!
  11. I think i would remove that first rivet you have on the inner side, fill the holes with ABS paste, and replace it with a second one set here: However, there's no specific recommendation in the CRL of where in the bottom ridge the rivets should be located, so i guess it would pass EIB and Centurion as it is now.
  12. What i was meaning is, i think the wings of your ammo knee belt don't extend far back enough. They should wrap around the knee completely, on both sides:
  13. I'm not fan of the blaster enlightenment, the zenithal is nice but a bit too dark for me. However the blaster is really awesome for sure, and you completely nailed the scope/sight alignment! Very nice addition.
  14. Pics are small but look splendid However, your ammo knee belt seems misriveted. The rivets should be set on the upper corners of it.
  15. Sorry to hear about the yellowing... To reverse it, someone posted something about what he did with great result, might want to have a look at it: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29002-how-to-reverse-uv-damage-on-armor/
  16. Awesome picture! Great job on the Jawa, congrats.
  17. It should be present for ANH Sandtroopers/Hero/Stunt, and also ESB. I think it has been lost during the recast process on the ROTJ armors though.
  18. Like i said above, only few armor kits have this feature. I think only RS Props and TM have it.
  19. The bottom swoop is present on only one shoulder bell (the left). The other one has none. ----------------
  20. Here's the swoop you're wondering about: Basically, only very accurate kits have it. The shoulder bells with the swoop at the bottom like that should be worn on the left/hand shoulder. And regarding your inquiry about the shoulder bells, i quote the CRL: During the filming, some thighs made of latex were used for mobility and stunts purpose but for joining the Legion, only handplates can be flexible.
  21. - You are wearing your shoulder bells reversed. The one without any flare at the bottom goes on the right/hand shoulder like on the picture below: - Other than that it's looking quite good. Just not sure why only one pair of rivets appears on your left side pic... - One other thing you could do, would be to square your detonator clips right above the top screws, unglue the middle panel and reglue it right above the ends, like on the picture below:
  22. The "B" belt has recesses for, i guess, the "I" caps to fit inside. Why? That's a good question. Basically, use the "A" belt with the "H" rivet caps.
  23. The result is impressive. Thanks for sharing.
