  1. Sweet! I would double coat the grey on the frown though, it appears not completely opaque right now.
  2. Indeed, it's coming along nicely.
  3. Looks perfect! And nice stiching. You could also have glued them to the canvas belt, that's what they did on the film to keep them in place
  4. Most folks use their Centurion gloves ! Personally i would feel more secure with the elastic loops around wrist and palm rather than velcro. Handplates are easy to get knocked off, grabbed...
  5. What happened to the back of his thighs while the bonfire picture was taken And congratulations Lee, that is one superb looking armor you have here. Beautiful helmet handpainting by the way.
  6. Indeed, too small. You might be interested in reading this, it's about a guy who did the same thing : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24746-my-ata-helmet-build/page-7
  7. This is 501st/garrison merchandising you'll have access to once you will have join the 501st. Basically, most of 501st forums have a private section only 501st members can access where Legion related stuff is sell.
  8. This end cap clip is one of the kind . The fact the two pieces fit quite loosely for now might be a good thing though, as once painted both pieces will gain a slight extra layer(s) of thickness which maybe will do a difference. And don't tell me about dremel and aluminium dust, i ate more than my part of it when i was working on my E-11! Handtools are so cleaner.
  9. Thank for this post Andy, i've always wondered how these scopes were sitting inside the tank and what the whole unit looked like. Very interesting stuff.
  10. The lighting fooled me, this is perfect!
  11. It's hard to judge the position of your thigh without the torso and shins in place to refer to. Looks good to me though. The notch on top of the left thigh isn't required for Centurion, but if you feel up to, i'd say go for it. Pandatrooper had done something similar back in the days and it was quite good. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11836-how-to-make-thigh-tops-anh-style/
  12. Decals too. (Not the untrimmed teeth, kinda funny )
  13. Except for the ears, this is all decals. Here's a very good place to get some: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28806-silkscreened-style-esb-helmet-decals/
  14. Same here... I've heard about that Yahoo album pics and wish i could have seen it before it went down.
  15. Or you can buy them from Echo here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23970-fs-centurion-level-rivet-sets/ And btw, the rivets used for the ammo pack on the thigh aren't split rivets but CAP rivets with a 7mm head. Edit: Tim beat me on that one
  16. And you know how much i like modifying your diagrams The 2 plates shouldn't overlap each others, nor there should be a gap between them. Don't be too concerned about mobility here as you don't have a matching articulation on the abdominal plate so you can't lean forward.
  17. Raah, without the wires it would be so much perfect!!
  18. Looking damn good Walter! This is very solid work here. Congratulations for having gone throughout the whole build One of the only modification i would do would be to repaint the blue abdominal buttons with a brighter one (the same used on the helmet) as yours appear a bit dark.
  19. Besides it's in all Caps in the title in skipped the "PVC" thing and i was thinking "ABS"... Oh well, so much for me! Sorry 'bout that. However that conforts me about my opinion on PVC vs ABS.
  20. Honestly, i think the fact he poured the water on it might have had an impact on the result. You can't have a nive even heat repartition by pouring it, and depending on how heavy he poured it water has weight that will press on the ABS. Hence i would temper it with, never pour hot water on your hard bought RS armor, but immersing might still be an option. Edit: that's still a crazy, scary pic man...
  21. What i've done with my scope to make the lenses look more interesting without having to drill them all the way through, was to use an old small-scale painter's trick and try to replicate a light reflection on a lense with some paint: Oh, and awesome job on the scope and cylinders! They are truly superb.
  22. Just epic! That third picture is stunning. If there's one thing that i will always have in mind is making me that same costume from this good old, amazing, everlasting Predator 1 .
  23. Not anymore: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29616-biceps/
  24. Not a daft question at all. And you are right, the thumbprint marks the left biceps.
