Seems like it would work, actually i've seen someone doing the same thing already (gmrhodes13 i think). And don't worry, most of us fasten the canvas belt with only two snaps.
The only thing i would change would be to skip the snaps for the drop boxes and just loop the strap around the belt like it wasdone on the original armors. They will still be removable as you will be able to separate the ammo belt from the canvas belt.
That looks ok lad! The first limb is the hardest, it should become easier and easier now on .
You should be able to wipe the glue residues with a towel with some alcohol on it (e.g. White Spirit). And also, you still have some return edge left at the wrist opening of the forearm, remove it completely if you want to go for EIB/Cent:
You can only host a limited size of data directly on the FISD. Host your pics on another plateform and then link the pics:

You will unlikely find genuine Newey snaps as they are very rare, but i had found some decent equivalent when i looked for it. Here's the thread with links on eBay:

Great work! That is a very nice blaster.
Will you be able to fit the central part of the front sight now that the outer part is glued tough? Or maybe you're planning to do the dovetail cut?
Oh and don't let the grip screw on the "Free" position! Basically this screw secures the pin that prevents all the trigger mechanism to be removed from the body of the gun, you don't want to lose that pin in a middle of a fight
CONGRATULATIONS Walter!! I'm genuinely happy for you, you deserve it more than a lot of folks!
Go for EIB, go, go, go!! You have all what it needs to. And why stop here? Believe me, Centurion is at your very reach
Well, first of all, front cover stripes on shins are supposed to be 20mm wide.
The thing about cover stripes is continuity. If you have a 10mm cover stripe on the front of your shins then you need a 10mm cover stripe on the front of your thighs. However, i reckon i really don't know if 10mm cover stripes will be acceptable for approval.
The way i see it would be to unglue them and start over with 20mm cover stripes and use padding inside the shins to prevent too much floating. The boots will also help keeping them in place.
