  1. Minor detail, but I don't think ESB used bicep hooks. I'm sure they all fell off between ANH and ESB and no one decided to make them again. In consequence, pretty much all biceps hung low and got all twisted.
  2. I agree...I used to despise ears gaps, but now embrace the imperfection of the look and even purposely made them bigger on my most recent bucket.
  3. The middle one is the holster this Hero TK is using with his SE-14r in the promotional shots:
  4. Yup, I've purchased both a mini-TK and mini-TI for my son. Walt's a great guy with great service....
  5. There are certainly better/more accurate E-11's out there. Very expensive for what you get: you could get several resin blaster kits for the price of one SDS. The RS Propmaster blaster is a touch cheaper and looks better and more accurate to my eye. The SDS does come in a nice box, though
  6. Potentially White Pauldron/Squad Leader, as well--if we're going by Hot Toys figures.
  7. I'm not sure.... The one on the right looks kind of diamond shaped, but on the guy beside him (with the coloured end of detonator) it looks like a regular sniper plate in profile.
  8. I use a painted (and chipped) helmet and unpainted armour--not unlike the originals. Looks good to me....
  9. It looks pretty close to the Tasco 4x20 I used on mine---------
  10. ...and I'm sure jetpacks will be a hot item soon, too. Where this fits in for CRLs, we'll have to wait and see, I guess. https://youtu.be/lg_ht2GfQJU?t=1m17s
  11. They apparently have "Shock Troopers" with red markings.... https://youtu.be/lg_ht2GfQJU?t=1m2s
  12. I use 1/8" rivets. After my first bucket build, however, I started to put them together with nuts and bolts (#4 pan head) first until everything is sitting just right (ears, brow etc). After I'm happy, I replace those bolts with rivets. It just saves having to drill the rivets out if you're completely satisfied with the stance of your bucket. I've built 10 TK helmets now and while I'm pretty confident in my building prowess, I still do it this way as it only takes a couple minutes to swap in the rivets for the the nuts and bolts. Your mileage may vary....
  13. There's even a guy holding a "shield" on the far right, too....
  14. VERY interesting...that intro pricing on the kit is crazy low for what's included! Good work Anovos!
  15. Rockin' the MNS at Vancouver FanExpo this past weekend....
  16. Put me down for one....
  17. Okay, my chipper Mr No Stripes build is almost done! A few touch ups and some newspaper weathering and I think it'll be done. The plan is to break it out at Vancouver FanExpo in a week and a half. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
  18. You can see how the hero holster is attached on Luke's belt. The originals used rivets. Most people now use Chicago screws. Personally, I would replace yours with Chicago screws as they blend in a lot better and look more like the originals than snaps.
  19. Not a dumb question. More like the g in gone.
  20. "Nagedzi" is one of the Native American names that I carry and was given to me in 2001. In our Kwak̓wala language it means "Big Mountain." Not too many stormtroopers have this name so I figured it'd be a good one to use here.
  21. I wear any coloured socks I have on--usually bright striped or argyle. I can't possibly imagine them becoming visible at all with my tights covering them and the boots being so tall.
  22. I used Chicago screws to connect the plastic to the canvas and keep the drop boxes in place. I only used snaps to attach the entire belt assemblage to the torso.
  23. A wooden toothpick works wonders to pick at the rough areas unless it's really bad.... Seriously, give it a shot!
  24. FWIW, standard ESB armour is the same as ANH armour....
