  6. Looks like they need to research their experts a little more
  7. Anyone happen to catch Auction Kings on Discovery Channel tonight?? They've got a customer that wants to sell some of his Star Wars collectibles. The only thing that caught their eye was the guys TK armor. Turns out the owner of the armor is a former member of the 501st. Had some "expert" come in to appraise it and swears it's made from the original moulds used to make the movie TK's. Some of it seems a little off to me with the wrong ab button colors and all. I'm guessing maybe an old FX kit. Not sure what it went for as the show is still on. I'll see if I can find it online and post a link.
  8. Awesome, congrats on your first troop. Being behind the bucket and seeing everyone's smiles makes the hard work of building well worth it.
  9. Sweet looking build you've got there.

  15. Good job, looks all had a good time.
  16. Thanks for getting back with me guys. The back are free floating, only held down with the thin elastic strap per EI reqirements and the front are glued down. The portion that is bugging me though is where the bridge glues to the chest piece. The chest has that area where it curves outward and down towards the shoulder and the strap doesn't follow that same contour. I just haven't seen many with that type of gap.
  17. Ok, looking for opinions to repair shoulders that drive me nuts when I see them in photos. Not sure if it's something that all encounter or if it's an AM thing or if it's just something I overlooked. On what i'm going to call the shoulder bridges, they don't lay flat and follow the countour of the chest piece. Here's some photos, but not sure how to add pointers with photoshop or anything. Hopefully you can make out what i'm talking about. I thought maybe one of those sealing irons that are used to make return edges, but since i've never used one I didn't know if it would have the effect I was looking for or if something needs to modified in another way to fix this.
  18. These suits are awesome guys. May have to look into making something like this for my 2 year old nephew. When he sees me in costume or any of my pics i'm known as "bubby tooper".
  19. Excited for you, can't wait to see you get your build started.
