  1. Thanks for your assistance everyone, had another troop today so I haven't made any repairs yet, but I now have a week until my next outing so i'll give these a try one night this week.
  2. Great troop for a great cause, thanks for sharing.
  3. Great job troopers, looks like you all had a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing
  4. Been trooping my very first set of armor for about ten months now and it has served me very well for my twenty some troops. I'm starting to get some wear and tear all around, that's ok and I kind of expect that, but yesterday I noticed a small crack in my bucket under the left/center of the chin coming straight out from the S-trim. It's only about a half inch long, but i'd like to stop it in it's tracks. I've heard about some using the t-shirt method, they're happy with it and it works well, but i'm not sure exactly what this involves or how it's done. Anyone have any experience with this or a suggestion on a better way of fixing the crack?? Thanks p.s. It's a CAP bucket I bought that already built and used by another member

  12. Awesome troop, great job troopers. Thanks for sharing.
  13. And you did a great job leading us Mark. Had a great time doing this, even if we did have to RUN the parade
  14. I have to say, Saturday was pretty awesome. It was my first time participating in this "national holiday" and was great to see the support shown by everyone that came to both the library and the book store. The library had a whole day of events set up for the kids that included snacks, activities and a costume contest while Half Price Books had displays set up, prizes for correct trivia answers and discounts throughout the store if you were dressed in Star Wars attire. It was my understanding that when they wanted to schedule us at the book store and were told we may not be able to make it with all the other events that day, they made it later in the evening to accomodate us since they really wanted us there. We all had a blast Saturday.
  15. This looks awesome, great work trooper.
  16. Great photos, looks like you all had fun as usual
  17. Thanks for posting Mark. From the time we got to Military Park for the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure", we were swarmed. Jenny, Greg and myself stood in one place for over 2 hours for a line of people that was rarely less than 20-30 people long to get to see us. It was quite an early troop as well as a very chilly troop. Temp at the start was 33degrees and had reached a high of 39degrees by the time we left. Was kind of funny, I know we usually get the "is it hot in there" questions, but yesterday I often heard "at least you're warm in there". Wrong!! Here's a few more pics from the event yesterday. Folks of all ages came out and this seemed to be the popular sign for the day
  18. Great job, awesome pics.
