  1. Wow thats a bit more input, thanks guy's 1: Thanks Andy, views on an AutoCAD would be great. 2: Hi Mark, no worries! as mentioned in my first reply I could be wrong I'm just looking for compeling evidance either way, the pic's you mentioned might help? 3: Thanks Paul, I'm not too familiar with Death Star Gunners or Guards holster but if you have any pic's to share as a comparision that would be cool. 4: Thanks Bernard, it's not made yet, it's just a rough mock up (no stitches) in case it's wrong 5: No apologies needed Peter, Hope you don't mind but I used the pic You posted. I have done some similar mock up's with my ANH holster, I just never could account for the lost material outside of the blue lines & the way the unedited picture give's the more of an appearance of a flat surface on the back wall of the holster, from the above light source. 6: Thanks Billy Thanks for All help for far guy's I just want to replicate exactly what appers in the promo pic & I know with your assistance, if it's ANH & or another holster I can achieve that, cos you guy's are TK & only TK's are so precise
  2. Yes Andy I certainly will, after I'm happy with the final cut. Any Helpfull UK Trooper who would like to try this on their amrour for size, to help me with the dimensions/scale, in a bid to get this pinned down please pm me.
  3. Yep I've heard those thought's before Mark but in the absence of any compeling evidance the jury was still out for me. Who know's I could be wrong Thanks for the brightening Billy as for the stitching this thing's still a WIP & here it is today I was just attempting to guage thought's & opinions on size, shape & everything else in general. Good question James, I don't know thats the best pic I have of the TK's Still looking for other impresions
  4. this is the holster I was going for: It's in the EBS pro pic's Iv'e had the pattern for a while & had some leather kicking round so thought I'd nock it up! So constructive feed back is welcome it tapers at the bottom & is as close to a one to one as I could get but sometimes when I look at something for a while I go a little snow blind, hense the request for thought's & opinions please
  5. As the title say's it all, here are some pic's. Sorry they are a bit mundane but the Camera's crap & It's distorting all aspects of the gear making every thing look squat. dont buy a Lumix buy a canon a couple more pic's to follow

  10. For some costumes I have to rely on this to fill em out but not sure how it would fair up under the TK Armor. -------------- For the TK I use square foam padding about half inch thick & double up in some places (thighs), sorry no pic's though
  11. Working on some Tk bit's & bats , other costume pieces, going out for a bike ride in the rain our UK summer <_< & heading off to the gym, should keep my idle hands busy. wish I was going down to London though
  12. I do have to admit I'm a fan of the imperfect film perfect To agree with others previously posted & hazard a guess, that a large part of the problems are arising mainly from the terminology used within the prop/costuming communities? Wouldn't some parity exist if some more terms of reference were globally accepted? As a rough example 1: screen used (Accurate) 2: prop replica side note (all with varying degrees of fidelity to the screen used item) 3: fan sculpt with same side note 4: Licensed product again with above side note But in the larger scheme of thing's I do believe there is room for all tastes

  16. Thin cotton, horse riding gloves are also good in a warmer climate. The ones with the nobbly palm may also help when grabing thing's There also very in-expensive
  17. An SDS Hero went for $315 approx yesterday on Fleabay, so there's always bargains to be found Failing that GINO lid recently went on ebay for $435. So these could still be an option.
  18. Oh Cool, would this mean Steampunk styling TK variant could be like the good, the bad & the
  19. As you said, If your going for an Idealized styling then I'd fill them in, that is the Helmet's remit. If your going for as canon as possible, I'd save up & buy another bucket Having both would give yourself the daily option
  20. good to see you back on two wheels Nathan If you ever want to maintain an imperial representation whilst on the road? you could check out this lid http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...3GB240%26sa%3DG
  21. I can't see too much $$ in TK armor as a future collectable but who know's with these thing's Going by today's antiques I would imagine as close to unaltered armor would command the cash, if any? Having said that, screen used item's seem to demand fantastic prices. even in todays econmic slump, looking at the profiles in history catalogue, items would go even higher outa my reach
  22. Damn Good question, I'll pm other pic's I have of the helmet, if it helps
