  1. UKwraths lists over on etsy, is local, however the shop front is presently on hiatus. TRamp lists on FB, is also local. Background on both found here with a search, interested to see what you finding discover & which option you finally go with, good luck.
  2. Hope its cool to add my recent research? after chopping up lots of leather trying different patterns to match what we can see in the promo pics. Here's a comparison of the size to the Standard E-11. I speculated they used a similar footprint for the holster? side profile side profile I believe Glen is on the money regarding the cut out being a functional addition, in order to get the right sided weapon out of the left sided holster makes life way easier. I've tried it next to the hard armour parts (not pictured) and the measurements stack up.....for me anyway
  3. Nice consolidation of much history here, many thanks Glen. I would figure the E-11 had to be mounted on the left due to the magazine! maybe the SR-14 was then also mounted on the left to create a uniform look for the big screen? No magazine issues there but now a left sided holster for a blaster that could actually sit on the right. I'd love to see a side profile of the Promo Trooper, to me It looks like purpose made item and not a usual holster "flipped" for stitching! these are not dyed through leathers and considering access to the blaster, looking at the pic, the SR14 is sitting kind of high to warrant a cut out? or is it just me, I can be wrong, I often am.
  4. I suspect your auto focus is (focused on your table cloth)? and not the shiny TK kit
  5. Many thanks for the added link, looks good, those lights are great especially the cylon light & love the sound effect's, both fun and very cool, Maybe try a thin wash on the case and see what you think, It could add a little to the fresh out of the academy look and if you didn't like it just wash it off again?
  6. Could you share a pic of your crate? its got me very curios to see your great looking build & the link is only for ppl beyond the authorized TK member wall
  7. Distortions masks do a nice rub out wash tutorial on you tube using FW inks, diluted with iso over a PAX paint base. depending on skill level, it looks like something that can be adapted to suit? Their wash mix colours are mentioned.
  8. Do you have a countdown timer on the camera? I had to do that in the past, on occasion. Every post is looking like more steps closer
  9. Wow I missed this gem of a thread, Excellent bump. That's creative ingenuity along with some beautiful weathering on those cases
  10. Some countries can be draconian especially after the VSC bill in the UK, however in my experience with enough cash to push in the right direction and customs forms filled, their OK?, even AU were willing entry of such things for me & those guys don't even like letting oranges get through airport security. To further add to Mathias good idea, if you or a friend are associated to the theatre or similar?, then that can be applied "for prop use".
  11. So we can confirm three down already only a few more and their prices go up, I see ppl asking £3500 & £2500over on the bay now. I'd love to see and read more on the others you have, esp the MCG, maybe you have an older thread you can point me too, or a new one
  12. Very valid consideration Mathias and on point, I did wonder if Sithping had provided the answer Luca was looking for?, in his excellent and reply. I can also confirm that there are only 3499 of the MR in circulation! so that may have already increased their value? Good luck in whatever direction you decide to go with Luca.
  13. I'm with Mario, ditto No 1:
  14. For Death trooper, undoubtedly the same look your going for, I'd search for both Gary J Tunnicliffe and Howard Berger tutorials, their are often considered masters of this style/effect in the movie SFX world. Copic inks too? Nice bike
