I know not all of these are movies:
Blade Runner, Terminator movies, LOTR movies, Star Trek (shows and movies), The Fifth Element, Back to the Future movies, Gremlins movies, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, X-Files, Space Above and Beyond, Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, Fight Club, Existenz, Ghostbusters movies, Tron, The Matrix movies, Aliens movies, The Crow, MIB, Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Batman movies, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Tombstone, Predator, Donnie Darko. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds, Army of Darkness, Evil Dead 1 &2, Dark City, Gattica, Stargate, The Thing, The Time Machine (original and remake), Day the Earth Stood Still (original). That’s all I want to list right now.
Pretty much agree with all of these. I stopped counting my DVDs when I broke 400. Those value bins at Wal-Mart are evil I tell you!
In addition to what's already been put up: Blues Brothers, Bond movies, Bourne movies, The Departed (Scorcese version), Die Hard movies, Lethal Weapon movies, Fletch, Harry Potter, View Askew/Kevin Smith movies, Quentin Tarantino films, Sin City, El Mariachi/Desperado trilogy, Indiana Jones, High Fidelity, Starship Troopers, Princess Bride..... The list just goes on and on and on...

Don't forget a camera, we all love some pictures.

Congratulations!

That would be expected, it's just a shame that the list isn't available to those who are looking.
There is a way to search if you are looking for a specific #. There is a publicly viewable list of #'s on the 501st main site.

While the photo may be humorous, to some sandies, the message is not.
As a former XO for the MEPD, I echo the sentiments of many hard-core sandtroopers who believe that the pauldron should only be worn by a sandtrooper.
However with that said, we are a all-volunteer costuming organization, and each member is entitled to manage their own uniform/costume as they feel fit.
As someone once said, "a pauldron & weathering" does not a sandtrooper make...
Amen to that. Sorry to be a spoil sport, but pauldrons are for TD's only+1
Hilarious picture!

Today I got in an hour of Force Unleashed and listened to the Force Cast.
Always glad to hear about more ForceCast fans. Slow weekend for me, just helping my wife work on her Padme.

Great job on the pics, rebel spy... I mean trooper
Welcome!

Looks good, the eyes will help like the others have said.
That side by side picture confirms my melon will probably never fit into an AP
-
If the face and back piece are too big, you would need to trim them down to fit to the cap.
Or, funds permitting, you could look into a replacement from one of the more accurate makers.
-
So I would just velcro the plastic straps to the top of the elastic straps then?
I'd say it's better if they are attached to the chest plate and the elastic straps are seperate.

Looks great Stomper.
Anyone looking to donate there old HFs to the "Troopers without guns" charity?
-
Trial and error, and all the great info on here. It really helped me to do test fittings with tape.

Dredging up an old thread here. There has been some discussion among our garrison about getting more elite troopers. The MRCE of course has come up. Is it a requirement for the elite to thin out the ears? Or is it more of a strong recommendation?
-
Congratulaions, I'm betting that you hit 2 million in less time than it took to hit 1 million.
-
I feel your pain, I have a big head and my FX is actually a reasonable fit. I'm currently redoing an MRCE and I can't wear my glasses in it. I haven't yet tried any of the other helmets, but I've been leaning towards RT for my next kit because I'm a bit larger than an English stuntman in 1977.

Beat me to it Doug.
After you have done that heat up the plastic the snaps are attached to alittle and then press them to the armor pieces so they match the curves in the armor after that just glue and wait.
Never would've thought of that, good advice there.
Heat Guns are a bit scary, especially if you get ones that are labeled as to exactly how hot you are making things. I did get a little carried away with mine. I've got the wonkiest sniper plate you'll ever see, but it actually does help because it tends to pinch my knee pretty badly.

.02 cents thrown in here. I did have to use the restroom at an event, and cutting the cod did help with how much armor I had to remove.
Honestly, I don't recommend trying to use the restroom in armor, it's awkward to say the least

I've never seen it! I'd love to have a copy
Cool pics by the way
It's worse than you can possibly imagine. 2 words sum it up very nicely... Wookiee Porn.
Bad makeup, questionable sets, Bea Arthur and Harvey Korman singing, Carrie Fisher obviously very high on something or another.
It is noteworthy because of the unused ANH Vader footage, the involvement of the whole ANH cast, Ralph McQuarrie designs, and a few others. To quote a teacher of mine the producers "snatched defeat from the jaws of success"
I have it on DVD and have watched it several times. I highly recommend the Rifftrax commentary.

They are from the Holiday Special. What you don't see is how the TK was holding the E-11 by the magazine.

Usually Target and Amazon have the Hasbro blasters. The stormtrooper and clonetrooper blaster are the same blaster in a different box. There are also resin and rubber blasters available, and you can make your own with the plans from the PVC blaster builders site.
Great advice all the way around except the clone blaster and stormtrooper blasters are different. The stormtrooper blaster that is out now is the same one that Hasbro has put out for years now, just with a different paint job.

Not the best of pics, but should give you an idea of what you are looking for.
-
For armor costumes, the armor itself comes in a kit form and you then build it up to fit your body. When browsing the forums you'll see lots of acronyms (FX, TE2, AP, etc.) these are the armor makers. If you see something you like, send a PM for more info.
We were all new at this once.

In a perfect world your ab plate and kidney plate would meet and butt up against each other.
Yeah, I don't live in a perfect world.
I found a plastic posterboard at Staples that was a similar color and feel to the ABS. I riveted it to my kidney plate and use velcro to close it with my ab plate. Helps to keep my ab plate in place as well.
