You want to contact John Danter. I couldn't get my MRCE ears off without damaging the originals, and John was recommended to me.

Well he has an FX helmet, so he might as well get the correct FX brow. I have enough of the accurate brow to do 2-3 movie sized helmets, but it would be too much trouble to add it to an FX.
I think you could get the accurate trim on there. Depending on how he constructed the helmet it seems you might have to glue it on.
There was an older post about someone finding an adhesive rubber door trim at an auto parts store and it seemed to work good on FX buckets.

I have a strap running from my bell down vertically into my bicep, and it's always coming undone. This might be a mod to look into to help with that.

Thanks for the links and replies guys.. Awesome help!
The FX sure needs a lot of work! But i'm also into scale modeling, so i'm gonna enjoy every minute of modding my armor!
The mods are part of the fun, plus it really gives your suit a unique look. I have yet to see any 2 suits with the same mods.

Congratulations!

The screen used suits didn't match the paint between helmet and suit either.

I've picked up a tube of E-6000 when I last had to do some repairs on the armor and it has worked great so far. It holds but has a flexibility in it.

Welcome from a former So Cal resident.

A Mr Clean Magic Eraser and some hot water will take those tube stripes right off.

A box of white and a box of black and you should be set for any and all occurrences.

Most of our summer troops are outside, and they usually last 4-5 hours. There are breaks of course, but being born in the desert, I'm not really phased by extreme heat.
I was born in the desert and I am sweating like mad in the summer when I dress out. Although, I was in the snow last weekend and felt nice and comfy

Any armor can be made to fit just about any body shape, although FX does seem to fit better on the larger troopers.

Welcome! Best advice is to do some research before you jump into a purchase. Look around, have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions.

That looks like the same thing I have. I paid about $15 at a local motorcycle dealer store. My FX fits in it without issue. I need to get my Garrison and FISD patches on it though.

Thanks everyone for there hard work on this.

I must bow before the master and the wizard. Impressive.

There is the list of all TK #s in use, you can search through the list to make sure what you want isn't taken. The application says pick 5 #'s in case one is taken.
I think this might have come up before

Thanks for all the great pics. Have you tried uploading them to a hosting site to get bigger resolutions? (ie. Photobucket, Imageevent, Flickr, etc.)

That looks like t-ball helmet padding.
Makes great bucket padding.
