  1. Hmm I'm 5"8 about 67 to 69 kg. I'm skinny but not anorexic. I haven't bought it, but its within my top considerations because: 1) Its already trimmed and Its easier to build apparently ( I have no confidence or any experience with handiwork) 2) ITs cheap!
  2. I've read that AM is ideally suited for bigger people, was wondering what sort of mods and specifics actions will need to be taken to make it fit someone who is skinner.
  3. I've contacted Mark. How do I contact loadingarea? Are there any pictures? Are they pre-assembled?
  4. I'm 178, about 67 kg. Relatively skinny but not anorexic. So AM is not good for me?
  5. Normally when I order one of these kits that are not assembled beforehand. Do I need additional tools to put it together? If so what? And do they give instructions as to where to attach the Velcro? And would I have to paint it myself? By the way how does AM rank for trooping?
  6. Noticed Rubies being used here, it looks alright, dont mean to be trolling or anything:
  7. alright guys i wont buy rubies. I might settle for an AP, I guess. To be honest, I don't really see myself getting into the 501st legions, or any garrison, I just want mine for fancy dress. But with that being said, I would like a very durable ABS armor that will let me go trooping. So I'm guessing RUBIES is cheap plastic right?
  8. Thanks for the info guys. I guess its back to hunting. Money is an issue for me too, Ive contacted RT, who indicated that it would cost an additional 175 to assemble it for me ><
  9. Ive found a few ive even contacted sellers, but all are not-assembled. They are just kits. I really want one thats pre-assembled ><!
  10. hows the quality of Rubies for trooping though? Is it ABS too?
  11. Yeah, I find that the contention here is, I really REALLY dont want to assemble anything myself. And people are telling me dont go for that assembled Rubies' crap(which I think looks alright). BUt no one gives me an alternative, when they keep saying its cheaper to get some fan-made ones!
  12. An alternative for me is the SDS kit, I've read tons about AA's bad rep, it doesnt bother me because he has a package that offers the battle helmet + armour for £750. But from what I gathered, the armour has not been assembled. Does anyone know how hard it would be to assemble it? What would I need? Im a total beginner
  13. 2 main reasons: (1) So far from my own research, I cannot seem to find a fan-made one, for around the same price of the Rubie's one which is roughly £600ish pounds for me. I would not like to spend £1000 for an entire set(armour and helmet). (2) I really want to get a ready made one, instead of having to trim and build it myself, because I am very anxious with doing that. I understand it may not be the best fit, but I am standard size. So my question is, are there any others available that are relatively cheap(my budge being around £600ish to £700ish) and ready made to wear? Additionally, I would like to wear it for trooping around!
