  1. I wish you guys could see this in person. Clay's attention to detail combined with a cool costume and his size make it so that this thing takes names.
  2. Hot glue works ok for me. I prefer to use some E6000 though.
  3. There are easier kits to build with greater accuracy out of the box so to speak. That said, Someone here even worked a Rubies kit into EIB. FX can certainly be modified with butt-joining, reshaping the chest, etc. it really depends on how much of a challenge you are up for. If that is the option you can afford, or if you already have a kit, it can be done.
  4. I wouldn't depend solely on Zap a Gap as it can become brittle and break apart. Also, should any repair or adjustment be needed later you are unable to separate the pieces safely and easily.
  5. Looking splendid Soren. Well-done.
  6. If that was in fact the Supreme edition, I've seen folks do some amazing things with those
  7. Any further work on this?
  8. I love the way you look at your parts and say "nah, that's not good enough." It really is resulting in one of the best builds I have ever seen.
  9. If it makes you feel any better, I end up with glue-covered fingers with nearly every build. I wear gloves sometimes, particularly in building my astromech, but then I just glue parts of blue latex glove to my work.
  10. Terrific start. Keep rocking.
  11. I'm sure this will prove helpful to many. I always love looking at CFO, so thanks on both counts.
  12. How does your kid like trooping in the TK? My son liked his clone, but it was tougher for him than his Jawa.
  13. I look forward to seeing another great CFO come to life.
  14. You have done a really nice job with this armor. Well-done.
  15. Nice build. As thin as you are, I wonder if you should trim a little off of one side of the abdomen, just enough to eliminate the overlap between the ab and kidney plates.
  16. Well-done. I always have difficulty with this step, but your persistence has paid off.
  17. Just know that this build thread will serve as a most useful reference for many new troopers.
  18. Such a worthwhile cause Ingrid, that I can forgive the Jedi disguise. What a great turnout! I'm envious.
  19. Looking good trooper. Good luck!
