1. Hi Justin and welcome to FISD! Everything you need to know is located in this thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
2. If you haven't already, sign up at your local garrisons forum. We have many helpful people here but maybe you might find a person near you quicker there. I see that we currently do not have an attaché from that area. Hopefully we will have a person soon. When you get your armor make sure you start a build thread here and we will give you first quality assistance.

Also, im going to move this topic to the off topic section. Just in case you come looking for it in the eBay section.
3. Very nice build Jen. Good luck with your application!
4. Very nice build! Good luck with your application!
5. Congrats Teresa and welcome to Centurion! You did a great job and it is well deserved!
6. Hey John. So I put that link above to you over at ECG but now I see you don't want the PVC. You may still want to consider it. It's a very good deal.
7. Wow this is an amazing deal. I may have to gather some money and jump on this. $450 US!!!
8. Hey Ryan and welcome to FISD! You won't have any problem making a TK work for you. Check out the getting started threads and you will find a ton of info on all of the different armor vendors. Don't forget that you may be 210-220 lbs but it will all come down to where you carry the weight. It comes down to your measurements more then just your weight. Anyway, more then likely you will want to look at AM 2.0, MTK, or AP. Good luck!
9. Hi Roy. Your armor is put together very well. The only suggestion I have for you is to try and close up the gap between your kidney and ab plate more. There isn't suppose to be any gap for Centurion. I'm not sure why it separates with your arms down as opposed to up. I also saw that this was a suggestion for your EIB application as well. If you can try and close it up, then the rest of your armor looks great. Good luck with your application!
10. Congrats Teresa! This is a really cool achievement. I saw your phasma at celebration and that was a piece of art as well. You and Aaron keep doing your thing and don't ever slow down. Like you said, hopefully this will inspire both women and men to go that extra mile and go EIB/Centurion. You have shown it is a worthy investment of time and very exciting. Again congrats!
11. Did you already connect the back plate? If you haven't then you could always reshape the shoulder bridges a little to make them more "flat." This will help the chest come down a little. Also don't forget you can add some elastic straps from the chest to the ab to help pull it down a little.
12. Awesome Ian! Really creative!
13. Very nice Teresa! Your armor is looking very sharp. You and Aaron did a great job. You shouldn't have much of a problem here. Good luck with your application!
14. Congrats Pete! Welcome to the 501st! Now you get to do the best part which is going out there and trooping. Have fun!
15. Hi Pete. The reason why you cannot post in the Newly Approved thread is because you do not have 501st access yet. If you have not done so already then head to this thread and request 501st access. You just need to follow the instructions in the first post. The rest should also work as well after you have done this. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
16. Very nice build! Good luck with your application!
17. You have done a great job! Welcome to Centurion!
18. Congrats Scott! You have done an amazing job! Welcome to Centurion!
19. Yes another great program to recognize those who embody the spirit of Troopers Helping Troopers!
20. Like everyone else has said, your RS suit SHOULD NOT have any problem going EIB or Centurion. However, the armor must fit you well and everything should be located where it should be when you put it on. As far as armor goes it is one of the best sets.
21. Hi Logan, your armor is looking great so far! I would just echo the advice Joseph gave you and bring in the shoulder bells so they are almost touching the shoulder bridges.
22. Congrats on your approval Brian! Get that Centurion app in right away. You should have no problem!
23. Take a look at this thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28304-how-much-can-i-realistically-expect-to-pay-to-finish-my-stormtrooper-costume/ Matthew there are a lot of good experienced guys in the NER if you need any hands on assistance. We have all been in your shoes in the beginning. Wavering back and forth on whether or not we have the skills to build a set of armor. But after you make the first few cuts then you get more comfortable with the process. And the best part about building your own set is you get to look at yourself in the mirror and have a great sense of accomplishment. As Chris has mentioned and the information posted in the thread above, you will see that this is certainly not a cheap hobby. When you look at the "cheap" side vs. the "more expensive" side you will see that ultimately you are only talking probably $300-$500 more.
