  2. Teresa for the gaskets Strapping is a way off yet, but we’ve got quite a few FO’s in the UKG so I’ll see how they’ve done it
  3. Will do. Just doing the last couple of prints for my FO Snowie and then I'll be tackling the lid, which I feel is going to be the hardest part
  4. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/art/other/star-wars-tlj-storm-trooperhelmet-chest-shoulder-armour-ep8 There’s a couple of small issues, but the rest looks pretty spot on. I’m 6’2 and 180lbs and it’s looking ok size wise
  5. Just using Sunlu PLA+ Don’t plan on leaving it in a hot car, so PLA is much easier to print with than PETG or ABS Here’s where we are so far
  6. So whilst building my FOTS I’m having to wait for a 3d model to be redone. I thought “I wonder how much of a TK I can print in that time?” So here we are. Back in 2015 I was going to do a FOTK but options were limited then, so I moved on. Decided to come back it now. Found some files that other than the bicep look pretty spot on and started printing furiously. Am using a CR-10s with a E3D volcano and Titan extruder. Started with the torso and in a week have printed Chest Shoulders Back/yoke TD plate Abs Ab boxes Belt boxes Forearms and hand plates are the same as the TS so they’re already done Blaster I’ve already printed using Germain’s files At the minute it’s just being held together with tape but hoping to get it all printed in the next two weeks and do a full kit up
  7. Was about to order some but the shipping was more than the gaskets
  8. Just going through the same procedure with Andrea at RS......and was wondering the same thing. Looks like ABS is the way to go
  9. Cheers Joe, No joy from the UKG so far, I'll try giving some makers a email.\ I did try a bit a dismantle-ing......but I got scared
  10. Well after nearly a year of inaction, I'm trying to get my a very impolite person in gear to sort out my armour. unfortunaley it is from Jdei Robe (yes, I know now, but it's far too latge to get a refund) The big problem I have is the size of my head in relation to my helmet. With no padding whatsoever, my helmet sits very high on my head, as well as pressing on my brow. This of courser makes it quite unstable and uncomfortable. There's no room for fans etc So my questions are, Is there any way of making the helmet bigger? Can I make one from "scratch" and make it slightly bigger? Am I screwed? Cheers
  11. Well my armour had it's first outing(s) this weekend, it being Halloween and all that. I bought my armour at first, purely for this reason, but now am committed to getting it up to spec and getting clearance. Anyway, back to the outings. Both were DJ gigs of sorts, but I don't think I fully realised hwo the armour goes down when you're out and about. It wasn't ideal circumstances, especially last night, as I had no spotters, but as 90% of the time I was going to be in a DJ booth, it wasn't so bad. Last night, included a 5 minute walk from my van to the club. although this took about 30 minutes after all the posing for photos  I took advice from here on how to modify my armour and mae it more wearable than how it came out of the box and would like to thank everyone here for the love. The mods included the thigh harness and a great canvas belt Apologies for the branding on the pics
  12. Doesn't look like the same guy, but I could be wrong. Mine was from stormtrooper-shop / jedi-robe
  13. Just have to say thanks for sorting this out........will remember type slower in future
