  1. Well... back on topic... I heard there is a problem approving the Jes Gistang armor, because of the details on the back plate, as they should not look like the clone back plate, but the one in the comic. -------- But I believe this is easily fixed, by simply cutting the Squares and circle in a sheet of plastic, sticking it on top of another sheet of plastic and inserting it in the armor, like with Kev's Clonetroopers.
  2. I guess they are referring to this back plate I'm already thinking about a way to make this, as it should be farely easy to do, with two sheets of plastic. Simply cut out the squares on the first piece, glue it to the other, and insert them into the back armor, like on KW's clone troopers. Easy peasy
  3. You have noticed, that this thread, is in fact, a 17 page long research thread, right??
  4. Finally had time to testfit on Mette again. Have most of the straps put in as well now. Just need strapping for the shoulders, bells and biceps. And then I need to do the belt, but couldnt really get started on that, until I had Mette put on the whole shebang again Picture time!! Still need to trim a bit at the top of the right side of the chest plate, just under the shoulder strap. And here is how the belt pieces will connect to each other. My hope is that the ab/kidney, will stop their misalignement at the top, after the belt gets attached. Otherwise I will make a sliding tab on the inside, like on the chest/back connection. I am also still considering, if I should remove the part of the ab/kidney, showing behind the chest/back assembly.
  5. There are also a lot of reference in the Legacy Comics, where the other Joker Squad members, is shown without the vent and with "normal" TK Vocoder.
  6. Really like the "whiter" weathering! Looking good
  7. Nah... we had our own connection from the CP hehe. I often "volunteered for long shifts"
  8. At least you are back in the saddle pretty fast. When I built my clone and missed my deadline for a CW Season 5 Release troop, it took me a couple of months to get started again
  9. Youre only one month late SƃĀøren
  10. Thats a big fat lie!!! There is blood, sweat, swears and occaionally some tears But lets see what you got, before you start cutting it all up. I thought about cutting a piece here and there, but KW advised against it a few times now. So far he have been right
  11. Thanks Kev, but glued them in last night... I actually thought about exactly what you said, but it looked very wrong, since there would be a lot of the front plate shoulder "tabs" showing on the out side of the straps. Maybe I can heat bend them a bit, or find some other way of making the back of the straps, stay inside the backplate edge.
  12. I once heard that Dinsey dont even allow blasters at their star wars events in Disneyland, unless you are a Disney employee, so I dont think you will have much luck bringing your blaster out on a cruise ship with them. But you could always email them and ask. You should have an email address from the place you got the tickets I believe.
  13. It uses the same holster as the E-11. There should be plenty in the sales threads
  14. I believe the actors where instructed to use left hand, but simply just forgot some of the time.
  15. About to glue the shoulder straps in place. Pretty sure they are sitting the right way, but wouldnt mind a second opninon
  16. I troop with my MR and never switch hands, unless it would be best, when a picture is taken. And yes, my arm is a bit sore after a couple of hours
  17. Actually, there are several occasions, where the TK's in ANH switch between left and right. Only when standing at attention, do you see everyone holding their blaster lefty like. But thats good enough for me, so I have always used left hand while in armor. At the beginning, I had to think about it, and remind myself to do it, but now, left handed comes automaticly to me, as soon as I put on the armor hehe(can that be defined as a sort of mental disorder??). And as a bonus, its easier to hold the blaster close to your body, when you dont have the magazine poking you and getting stuck under the breast plate, when you try to raise it
  18. Thanks Kev Well, Mette is a couple of inches too short for this set, but I will see, when I get the straps in and get it on her, before deciding if I need to cut a bit, or not And will post pictures, before taking any decisions
  19. Think I would remove the lip anyway. Its really easy to see when a flash is used for the photo.
  20. Hahahahaha XD I meant snaps! Would it be okay to use snaps on both sides? And 3 weeks without even a "we are looking into it"... Maybe its time to poke them continuously until you get word back.
  21. That looks great A shame you didnt tape on the shoulders for the helmet pics. The helmet dont look that much out of place. But isnt she uncomfortable around the thigh/crotch area? I can see there is still a bit of the return edge/lip left there And she mixed up her forarms hehe
  22. I forgot how much I hate making snap plates!!! Got around 40 of them, that needs to be sanded, drilled and have snaps installed, before I can glue them in. Have been doing a handfull at a time, each time I go out for a smoke, so have some put down Anyhoo, I have been fiddling around with the placement of the belt and I think I have found the right place to put it. Its where it fits the best, and the back pies covers the seam between kidney and butt, but I'm not sure if it might cover too much... Also, I might take a bit off the top-front of the but, to stop it from sticking too much up.
  23. Hey Kev. You sugest that people make one side with snaps, and the other with rivets, but since theese are virtually unnoticable under the belt and chest/back armor, would it be a problem to use rivets on both sides??
  24. Still have everything. Lego, Micro machine, Hasbro and a few Kenner that belonged to my dad
